If there are any among you who collect the Mixels, here is something to please you with the first official visuals of the nine characters of the series 9 unearthed by users of the Mixels Wiki.
I admit that I have not launched into this range which now has 81 different characters to collect.
Note that series 8 is still not available at LEGO, it is necessary for the moment settle for series 7 (3.99 € the bag). Series 8 and 9 should a priori be marketed this year.
Have any of you gathered all of the characters available to date since the very first series of 9 sachets released in 2014?
For all those who are fans of the Mixels, this concept developed by LEGO in partnership with the Cartoon Network channel, here are the official visuals of series 2, uploaded by Amazon Japan.
We find, as was the case for the first series of 9 sachets, three tribes each consisting of three characters: the frosticons, Fang gang and Flexers.
Unless there is a surprise increase, the official selling price of the bag should be 3.99 € as for the previous series.
The image above is available in very high resolution (5000 x 3056) on my flickr gallery.
You've obviously heard of Mixels ...
For those who do not yet know what it is, this is a range of characters to build and combine with each other which is supported by an animated series which will be broadcast on Cartoon Network from February 12 in the USA. and undoubtedly in the wake in France.
LEGO and Cartoon Network are partners on this range which consists of tribes of characters that will be marketed during the coming year: Frosticons, Infernites, Stretchers, Cragsters, Electroids et Fang gang.
The French version of the channel's website already includes content on the animated series, accessible since this link.
So on the menu: A dedicated website to the range with activities, mini-games, etc ... which will be launched on February 6, the broadcast from February 12 of the first episodes of 1 to 2 minutes of the animated series and an application, launched during the first quarter, developed by the studio Hibernum Creations, which has previously produced the LEGO City: My City game and content to promote the LEGO Chima Online game. The sachets will be available for sale from March 1, 2014.
Three tribes are already known and share the nine bags of series 1 : infernitis, Cragsters Electroids.
La list of characters from series 2 is known, but no visual being available, difficult to associate them individually with one of the three remaining tribes: frosticons, Stretchers and Fang Gang.
Below, a video preview (with a bug on the end) of what this new range and the derived cartoon look like, or vice versa.
Even below, the comparison between the characters of the animated series and their counterparts in the LEGO version (High resolution version of this homemade DIY available at my flickr gallery).
We'll talk briefly about the future LEGO Mixels range with the official visuals below and some useful information:
The price of the bag is set at 3.99 € and the series 1 consists of 9 bags in total, it is divided into three factions: Infernite, Cragster and Electroid.
It will be possible to combine the contents of three sachets of the same color to form an even more imposing creature (See the scan of the page below. latest german catalog).
The bags 41500 (Flain), 41501 (Vulk) and 41502 (Zorch) give a Infernite Combi, sachets 41503 (Krader), 41504 (Seismo) and 41505 (Shuff) combine to form a Cragster Combi and bags 41506 (Teslo), 42507 (Zaptor) and 41508 (Volectro) transform into a Combi Electroid.
Availability planned for March 2014.
I remind you that the LEGO Mixels concept is the result of a collaboration between LEGO and the Cartoon Network chain. The toy manufacturer will market the products derived from this new in-house franchise and the American channel will broadcast the animated short films which will serve as support.
Finally, here is more information about this new house license: LEGO Mixels is in fact the result of a partnership between the Cartoon Network chain and LEGO.
These two major players in the world of children's entertainment are joining forces to create a franchise that brings together television content, video games and construction toys.
While the American channel will broadcast the animated short films, LEGO will market the above minifigures, which can be combined with each other and which will be launched in three successive waves during 2014 at very competitive prices.
A mobile application will also be launched in 2014.
This range is obviously aimed at the youngest customers of LEGO.
I'll pass you the rest of the press release about LEGO's desire to continue to offer products that promote creativity, etc, etc ... You can read it in full (And in English) at this address.
