21103 The DeLorean Time Machine

After a month and a half of waiting, I have finally received the Capacitor Flux replacement for my 21103 The DeLorean Time Machine set.

The spelling mistake on the word Shield (Who had become Sheild in the first boxes on the market) has been corrected and LEGO, after having somewhat messed up the replacement of the part concerned by returning a part also carrying the spelling error to those who had requested its replacement, was finally able to proceed with the replacement. shipment of the correct reference.

If you are concerned by this problem, minor for some but rather annoying for others, you should request the reference 6083794 from the LEGO Customer Service.

Sheild your eyes from light ...

For those who don't read the reviews, the LEGO Cuusoo team just responded to the printing issue (See here) of the part representing the Capacitor Flux from set 21103 Back to the Future Time Machine.

In essence, LEGO announces that the problem is now known to its services, that the official market date for the set via the LEGO Shop remains set for August 1 and that LEGO is currently looking for the best solution to solve this annoying problem.

LEGO Star Wars 75060 Slave I

Well, the tradition is respected and the trainee from LEGO has raged again: Reviews of the next set Ultimate Collector Series 75060 Slav I of the Star Wars range are popping up all over the internet and we see that once again a typing error has slipped onto the presentation sticker.

Un Tracor Beam, it does not exist and Slave I is in fact equipped with a Phylon F1 Tractor Beam, a piece of equipment that allows you to retrieve an object or a person by pulling it towards the ship via a gravity-modifying flow, or something like that.

This is not a first for LEGO, here I regularly revel in these errors that pass through the cracks of the manufacturer who nevertheless seems to meticulously control everything that comes out of his house: The set 21103 The DeLorean Time Machine was entitled to worship now "Sheild Eyes From Light", the and 10179 Millennium Falcon had "12 Quad Laser Cannons"instead of 2, the set 10221 Super Star Destroyer was equipped with "250 heavy turoblaser batteries"instead of turbolaser, etc ...

This error seems to be present on all copies of the set so far distributed by LEGO to sites that have offered a review, hope that it will be corrected by the time this box is released on January 1st.

Star Wars Rebels

The info is anecdotal, but I can't resist: Friend Zeb, one of the heroes of the Star Wars Rebels animated series, searches for his name and neither LEGO nor the Star Wars Insider magazine agree on his name of family.

LEGO has already used two different names on the set packaging 75053 The Ghost presented at the Nuremberg Toy Fair (below) and during the New York Toy Fair (above). Zeb Orretios became Zeb Orrelios from one Toy Fair to another.

The magazine (official) Star Wars Insider Add a layer by publishing in its last issue an insert that presents the different characters of the series and Zeb Orrelios here becomes Zeb Orrelious...

Who is telling the truth? I don't know, I just hope for LEGO that the syndrome "Shield eyes from light"does not plague the trainees of the manufacturer again ...

Update : It's confirmed by Greg Wiesman (Producer on Star Wars Rebels) on Twitter, there is a fault in the Star Wars Insider magazine. Zeb's name is fine Orrelios.
