The high-resolution visuals of the Star Wars, City and Friends Advent calendars are live on the LEGO server, which suggests an imminent arrival of these boxes on the LEGO Shop, and this is the opportunity to take a quick look at the minifigs delivered in the set 75056 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar.
Lots of recycling, little new among these minifigs: General Rieekan comes from the set 75014 Battle of Hoth released in 2013, the Snowtrooper was already featured in the Star Wars 2012 calendar, the rebel pilot comes from the set Planet Series 75009 Snowspeeder & Hoth released in 2013, the Tie Fighter Pilot from the set microfighters 75031 Tie Interceptor released in 2014 and Luke's legs are that of the "exclusive" minifigure of the Updated & Expanded"from the book LEGO Star Wars The Visual Dictionary released this year. The rest of Luke's minifigure comes from the sets 75052 Mos Eisley Winery et 75059 Sandcrawler released this year.
I recall the body of the astromech-Christmas tree droid from the set 75056 Advent Calendar 2014 will assemble an R2-X2 droid (companion of Theron Nett alias Red ten during the Battle of Yavin) complete with the dome found in the Microfighters set 75032 X Wing.
The Clone Trooper with his red cap will still be entitled to a classic helmet in another box (see the overall visual).
Also note that the legs of Luke's minifig are different on the box (white on the box, Tan on the minifig).
Star Wars fans have nothing to complain about, however, the Friends calendar (41040) only contains two figures ...
