LEGO Certified Store at Place des Halles shopping center in Strasbourg: it's getting clearer ...

It is the shopping center in Strasbourg which announces it on his facebook page : It is only a matter of a few weeks for the effective opening of the LEGO (Certified) Store which will be located in the heart of the Place des Halles shopping center in Strasbourg.

The confusion of genres is also generally maintained by forgetting the word "Certified" in the name of these shops which regularly open all over France and it should be remembered that this new space will not be a LEGO Store. "official" with the services that go with it, including the VIP program.

LEGO had vaguely promised that these Certified Stores would one day be affiliated with the program, but nothing has ever been done to allow customers of these franchised shops managed by the Italian company Percassi to accumulate points when they make their purchases and then use them to obtain a reduction.

Regarding the actual opening date of this shop, it will obviously be necessary to wait for a relaxation of the sanitary measures in force, in particular those concerning commercial areas of more than 10.000 m2.

Two new upcoming LEGO Certified Stores: Strasbourg and Le Havre

The Percassi company, which manages the LEGO Certified Stores established in France, Italy and Spain, continues to develop its network in France and is currently recruiting staff for two new stores which will soon open their doors in Grenoble and Nantes.

Thanks to the ads posted online to find the future managers of these stores, we learn that the LEGO Certified Store de Grenoble will be installed in the aisles of Grand Place shopping center and that the one in Nantes will be installed within the Nantes Atlantis shopping center.

Please note, as LEGO indicates, these shops set up by the Percassi company are not spaces directly managed by the brand: "... These LEGO® stores are owned and operated by approved independent third parties. Offers, promotions, prices and inventory may vary. Also, the LEGO VIP loyalty program will not be available. Returns of products ordered from the LEGO.com online store will be refused. For more information, please contact these stores directly ..."

LEGO Certified Store in Strasbourg: opening scheduled for the first quarter of 2021

Le LEGO Certified Store of Strasbourg which will be located in the aisles of the shopping center Place des Halles should finally open its doors in the first quarter of 2021. The lease is signed and the 200m store² which should have opened last summer will be located near the Auchan supermarket installed in the center. It is France 3 which communicated the information on its website at the beginning of November.

I remind for all intents and purposes that it will be a LEGO Certified Store, a LEGO licensed store run by the Italian company Percassi. For those who are wondering, this is not a temporary store that would eventually be replaced by a "real" LEGO Store. LEGO manages its network, Percassi takes care of his.

LEGO also indicates for shops of the same type already open elsewhere in France that "... this LEGO® Store is owned and operated by an approved independent third party. Offers, promotions, pricing and inventory are subject to change and the LEGO VIP Loyalty Program will not be available. Gift cards and returns of products ordered on LEGO.com will not be accepted. For more information, please contact the Store directly ..."

Le LEGO Certified Store de Strasbourg will be located in the aisles of the shopping center Place des Halles. The one in Le Havre will be installed in the aisles of the shopping center Vauban docks.

We remember the initiative launched in 2018 by LEGO fans who were actively campaigning for the opening of a LEGO Store in Strasbourg and which was then relayed by a local elected official via a letter addressed to the group's headquarters in Billund. The installation of a LEGO Certified Store is probably only a half-victory, but it's still better than nothing.

With these two new licensed stores which will join those of Dijon, Rosny-sous-Bois, Toulouse and Créteil, the French territory will have 6 LEGO Certified Stores and 9 official stores.

Please note, as LEGO indicates, these shops set up by the Percassi company are not spaces directly managed by the brand: "... LEGO is coming to Saint-Brieuc, but it's not a LEGO Store

Several media including Le Télégramme et Ouest France are currently echoing the opening on December 7 of a LEGO Store in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d'Armor). This is not completely true, it is in fact a temporary LEGO Workshop, similar to that of Bourges (18), which will open its doors in the alleys of the Les Champs shopping center and which should remain installed for at least the next two years.

The LEGO Workshops are temporary concept stores set up by the company Epicure Studio, a design and event consulting agency under contract with LEGO France. They probably have the value of a full-scale test to assess the interest of subsequently setting up a permanent sales space, franchised or not.

The prices charged in these LEGO Workshops are similar to those of products on the shelves of official LEGO Stores. On the other hand, no VIP program in these temporary shops, but the LEGO Workshop in Bourges allows you to obtain a 10% reduction on the prices charged on presentation of the VIP card.

This new 100 m2 boutique will be located near the entrance to the gallery accessible from rue du Général Leclerc.
