The image comes from the official LEGO Shop where it currently illustrates the LEGO Elves section : Here is the new version of the Ford Anglia 105E Deluxe which, according to the latest rumors, could accompany the Whomping Willow in the LEGO Harry Potter set 75953 Whomping Willow (753 pieces) at the start of the next school year.
If this is the case, then the set will result in at least Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.
It should be noted that the car in the LEGO version has the registration seen in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
This is not the first version of the flying vehicle: it was already appearing in the sets 4728 Escape from Privet Drive (2002) et 4841 Hogwarts Express (2010)
Everything is good to keep fans under the elbow while waiting for the marketing of the Harry Potter Fantastic Beasts sets planned for the next school year.
Today, JK Rowling himself does the job with uploading on Twitter of the Niffler figurine (or Niffler) which will be delivered in one of the planned sets, probably the reference 75952 Newt Scamander's Briefcase (694 rooms).
LEGO had already provided an interpretation of the creature, to be built with a few bricks, in the Fantastic Beasts Story Pack for the LEGO Dimensions game (ref. 71253).
For those who missed the announcement that took place last March, a single set based on the film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has been fully unveiled for now, it is the reference 75951 Grindelwald's Escape.
It's never too early to do a little teasing, and if you are fans of the Harry Potter saga (and the LEGO range) you now have at your disposal the dedicated mini-site to the rebirth of the range planned for the next school year.
Without repeating here all we know for now on this series of sets to come, know that two boxes have so far been officially unveiled (visuals below) and that some references are starting to appear gradually at amazon: 75952 Newt Scamander Briefcase (694 pieces), 75954 Hogwarts Great Hall (878 pieces) and two BrickHeadz sets, 41615 Harry Potter & Hedwig (160 pieces) and 41616 Hermione Granger.
If you follow along, you also know that we will also be entitled to a series of collectible minifigs (ref 71022 - 6213829 for the complete box) and a big D2C set which would be the reference 71043 Hogwarts Castle. To confirm.
On the occasion of the release of the film trailer Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (in theaters on November 14), LEGO is taking the opportunity to do a little teasing for the derivative products that will be marketed.
The visual above promises us at least one Thestral pulling a carriage and the minifigs of Johnny Depp alias Gellert Grindelwald and Carmen Ejogo alias Seraphina. It is difficult to know for the moment whether this set (ref. 75951) will contain anything other than the elements present on this visual.
In addition to this box, the rumor also announces a set with the suitcase (to be built) of Newt Scamander (possible ref.: 75952), which would open to reveal a scene from the film.
Bonus: The 75951 LEGO Fantastic Beasts Grindelwald's Escape set has finally been unveiled. In the box, as expected, Gellert Grindewlad and Seraphina Picquery. 132 pieces in total. $ 19.99. Available from August 1, 2018.
This is the announcement of the day and it will please fans of the Harry Potter universe: The set 75954 Hogwarts Great Hall will be available at the public price of 109.99 € from August 1st, accompanied by three other boxes including the reference 75953 Whomping Willow which can be connected to the Great Hall.
Big enough complete cast with 10 minifigs in this compact playset of 878 pieces which will offer some playable spaces: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Draco Malfoy, Susan Bones, Professor McGonagall, Professor Quirrell, Hagrid, Albus Dumbledore and Nearly Headless Nick.
Advertised price for the USA: $ 99.99. Availability scheduled for August 1, 2018.
