LEGO brings out today the reference 40487 Sailboat Adventure of its boxes in the form of a promotional offer which allows you to obtain this small box of 330 pieces from 150 € of purchase without restriction of range.
This small set from the LEGO Ideas range was already offered from €200 of purchase in August 2021, so the manufacturer has lowered its ambitions to sell off the remaining stock. This offer is valid until next April 30 and the product is automatically added to the basket as soon as the minimum amount required is reached.
Please note that the offer, available only through the official online store, is presented as allowing you to obtain a "surprise gift". It is therefore not excluded that the product concerned changes during the offer if the set 40487 Sailboat Adventure is exhausted before the deadline.
LEGO just announced the result of the second phase of LEGO Ideas evaluation for the year 2021, with a batch that brought together 34 more or less successful ideas but which had all been able to gather the 10.000 supports necessary for their passage to the review stage.
Two projects are definitively validated: A-Frame Cabin by Andrea Lattanzio (Norton74) and BTS' Dynamite by Josh Bretz (JBBrickFanatic) and Jacob (BangtanBricks).
Everything else goes directly to the hatch including the project Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs whose fate was in suspense, for various and varied reasons which are not officially communicated by LEGO. The manufacturer is usually content to specify that he can only produce and market a limited number of products in the LEGO Ideas range and that the quantity of ideas validated during each review phase is therefore not proportional to the number of competing proposals.
If you have time to waste, you can always try to guess who will emerge victorious from the next review phase, the results of which will be revealed in the summer of 2022.
36 projects are in the running, there are some more or less interesting ideas, but the vast majority of those who managed to qualify their project will undoubtedly have to settle for the "consolation" endowment consisting of LEGO products with a total value of $ 500 offered to everyone who reaches 10.000 supporters.
LEGO announcement today that the result of the second phase of the 2021 review will be announced on Tuesday February 22 at 9:00 a.m. 34 ideas which were able to gather the 10.000 necessary supports are in the running with an imposing selection which brings together as usual licenses, castles, modulars, medieval, an airplane engine, a tribute to the group of K-pop BTS, more medieval, the All Risks Agency van, etc...
The vast majority of these projects should more or less logically go by the wayside but those who managed to place their idea in this selection will be able to console themselves with the endowment of LEGO products with a global value of $ 500 awarded to the finishers. LEGO reveals, however, that several proposals have been validated: "...What's more exciting is that we can reveal that new sets have been approved!..."
While waiting for the official announcement, you can always risk a prognosis. If you want to refresh your ideas, the 34 ideas whose fate will be definitively sealed tomorrow are listed at this address on the official LEGO Ideas Blog.

Two copies maximum per person, LEGO specifies that Guillaume Roussel will only sign this box and not the rest of the products on sale in the store. We do not yet know if other signing sessions are planned elsewhere in France.
