To make us wait while waiting to learn more about the LEGO Jurassic World video game, the publisher offers us a (very) short teaser which assumes the upcoming release of a real trailer.
Those who want to pre-order the game without waiting for the official release scheduled for next June will be happy to hear that Amazon Germany is already offering for sale (at this address) a version "special Edition"game on PS3, probably accompanied by an exclusive minifigure or some free DLC packs.
The game will allow you to replay the events of the four films of the franchise, to play with 20 different dinosaurs and even to create new species.
I remind you that LEGO video games are still marketed in a multilingual version.
Update with the full game trailer and some screenshots:
A dinosaur made from bricks? What an idea ... And yet, as if it were to remind LEGO that some fans expect something other than a few molded three or four piece figures to embody the main characters of the Jurassic World range, the LEGO Ideas project "Bricksauria"of sentesosan launched in the summer of 2013 has just finished gathering the 10.000 supporters required for a phase in the review phase.
I have no illusions about the future of this project, it will probably go by the wayside without explanations in a few months, but I find that the signal sent by all these supporters who would like to see a "real" release one day. Lego version of Tyrannosaurus Rex really comes at the right time.
Senteosan is the author of several projects based on the Jurassic Park universe that you can discover at this address.
LEGO has just unveiled the official visuals for Jurassic World sets. It is now up to everyone to form an opinion based on the entire range provided.
From top to bottom : 75919 Indominus Rex Breakout, 75915 Pteranodon Capture, 75916 Dilophosaurus Ambush et 75918 T-Rex Tracker.
The and 75917 Raptor Rampage had already been officially unveiled yesterday.
The photos of the boxes in the Jurassic World range have been online on Brickset, and as usual, they are very successful, perhaps too much compared to what they actually contain ...
Here is the first official image of the set 75917 Raptor Rampage with as expected Chris Pratt alias Owen Grady, the motorcycle seen in the trailer of the film, Charlie and Blue the two "tamed" raptors, a medical vehicle, a scientist (Claire?) and a park officer armed with his tranquilizer gun. UK public price: £ 49.99 (Approx. 65 €)
Chris Pratt himself made the announcement on his facebook page : Here is the minifig of the character he plays in the film (Owen), already present on the visual of the LEGO catlogue, and which will be delivered in the set 75917 Raptor Rampage.
The minifigure is very nice, even if it reuses (logically?) The Star-Lord head available in the sets Guardians of the Galaxy.
