LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2: trailer announced for May 23, game for November 15

If you liked the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game released in 2013, you can put the cover back this year with a 2nd episode, the trailer of which will be unveiled on May 23.

Join your favorite superheroes and villains from different eras and realities to take on time traveler Kang the Conqueror in the all-new original LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 adventure!

Play as Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man, Thor, Hulk, The Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Dr. Strange, Carnage, The Green Goblin and dozens of Marvel superheroes and villains in this cosmic battle within the Chronopolis city of the future.

Travel from Ancient Egypt to the Great West, including the Planet Hulk and New York City in 2099, and transport objects or characters through the centuries. With all-new online battle modes, take on your loved ones through a series of themed challenges and battle arenas!

The real question is not so much whether this game will be at least as successful as its predecessor or whether the publisher has planned some new features to change the usual concept of LEGO video games a bit. On the functionality side, we already know that a 4-player cooperative mode and the ability to manipulate time will be there.

Availability scheduled for November 17 on PC, PS4 and XBOX One. A Nintendo Switch version will be released at the end of the year.

The one and only question that must now be asked is: What will be the exclusive minifigure supplied with the game?
