I just received my copy of the "Updated & Expanded"from the encyclopedia of LEGO Star Wars characters and if I take the trouble to talk about it again here when almost everything has been said about this book, it is mainly to underline the fact that the publisher Dorling Kindersley (DK for the intimate) knows how to do good works when he gives himself the means.
Unlike the calamitous "LEGO Star Wars in 100 Scenes" whose I was talking to you a few weeks ago, this 280-page book is a real success: the photos of the minifigs are superb, the texts which mark out the pages are interesting and we take pleasure in leafing through this collection accompanied by an exclusive minifig by Boba Fett. The "Facts"around the parts that make up each minifig are also very useful, for example they mention the possible reuse of a head from one minifig to another or the change of hair color for Kanan Jarrus along the way to better stick to the physical appearance of the character from the animated series ...
The Star Wars sets of the first half of 2015 are present in this version of the encyclopedia.
The youngest or those who are allergic to the English language will wait patiently for the next school year to get the French version of the book. The English version is currently sold at a broken price (around € 7.50 without shipping) on amazon UK. You can order a maximum of five copies and in this case each book will cost you just under € 10 including postage.
