LEGO today unveils the Technic set 42109 App-Controlled Top Gear Rally Car (463 pieces - 139.99 €), a box featuring a Top Gear licensed vehicle through a partnership signed with BBC Studios.
The car will be controllable via a smartphone on which the Control + application is installed. Under the stickers, we will find the elements Powered Up essential for the motorization of the machine: a Smart Hub Bluetooth and two motors (1 x L motor, 1 x XL motor).
LEGO specifies that the application will offer a little more than a simple remote control interface with, as for the other sets which exploit the possibilities offered by the Control + system, challenges to be met for an "even more immersive" gaming experience. .
This box will be available on the LEGO Shop and in the LEGO Stores from December 26th.
The youngest will finally have on hand an almost affordable gearbox that will allow them to discover the possibilities offered by the Control + ecosystem, hoping that this rally car will be a little more nervous than the slightly soft 4x4 in the set. 42099 4x4 X-treme Off-Roader sold 229.99 € ...

The French version of the show, presented by Philippe Lellouche, Bruce Jouanny and Yann Larret-Menezo has been broadcast since 2015 on the RMC Découverte channel.
About the STIG, the pilot dressed in white whose silhouette appears on the back of the box and whose name adorns the stickers of the headlights placed at the front of the vehicle: This is a pilot present in the program whose identity is in principle kept secret. Several motor racing champions and professional stuntmen have followed one another under the white helmet over the seasons.
