Do you like having the impression of influencing the choices of LEGO by voting for a project, a set or in this specific case a book? If so, this new operation will allow you to make your voice heard on the choice of a new book presented as specifically intended for AFOLs (acronym for Adult Fan Of LEGO).
The manufacturer offers you this time to choose between three different themes. It's up to you to choose the subject that interests you the most: The LEGO Brick Museum which should retrace the history of the group and its products in a preliminary manner, The Secret Life of LEGO Bricks which will provide some more or less interesting facts about the brand's star product and LEGO History in 100 Bricks which will summarize the highlights of the LEGO epic through emblematic elements that have marked fans.
I participated in the preliminary discussions around this project and the themes set out above were submitted to us along with a few others with the possibility for all the participants to express an opinion on the potential of each of them. The three projects presented are those which had a priori attracted the most participants, even in the absence of precise information on the final editorial content.
Make no mistake about it, despite their three very different titles, it is certain that all these works have a large amount of content in common, it is especially on the form that this content will be adapted according to the theme that it is. will prevail. If LEGO boasts a bit of having worked "closely" with the AFOL community on this project, I think we just have to be content to evoke a "discussion" with a few members of the community who have had only an advisory opinion. It is LEGO who manages, who chooses and who decides.
The voting sequence that will determine the selected project will be open until August 9. The project that has gathered the most support will then be put online during the month of September on the crowdfunding platform. specialized in Unbound Edition and it will be necessary as is always the case when it comes to through crowdfunding commit to purchasing the book in advance without knowing what it will actually contain on arrival.
Additional exclusive bonuses will be offered to those who want to participate in the fundraising campaign and during preliminary discussions, LEGO confirmed that nothing was excluded: minifigs, sets, etc ... It will therefore be necessary to watch these rewards not to miss a truly original and exclusive product which deserves to be encumbered with yet another book to the glory of the brand. Note also that each person who participated in the fundraising campaign will see their name appear on the back of the book.
