LEGO Marvel Avengers Endgame 2019: all the info on the five sets

It's official, the content of the five LEGO boxes based on the Avengers Endgame movie is now unveiled by Amazon.

Iron Man's very Hall of Armor is finally here, with four different armor sets in minifig format that you can complete with minifigs from your collections. As it stands this Hall of Armor is a bit "compact" and it will certainly take at least two copies of the set to get something bigger. The armor MK38 (IGOR) to build is on the other hand frankly missed ...

On the sidelines of the unique set based on the film in which she is the main character (76127 Captain Marvel and The Skrull Attack), Captain Marvel is also delivered in the LEGO CITY police station-like playset bearing the reference 76131.

Amazon has finally put online all the official visuals of the LEGO Marvel sets based on the movie Avengers Endgame, a beautiful series of boxes that contrasts with the manufacturer's very limited risk taking around the movie Captain Marvel which was not entitled than one set (76127 Captain Marvel and The Skrull Attack) ...

The character is however found in one of the five sets based on Avengers Endgame, the reference 76131 Avengers Compound Battle.

76124 War Machine Buster

Amazon sells the wick: the first official visuals of the LEGO Marvel Avengers sets 76124 War Machine Buster (362 pieces) and 76126 Ultimate Quinjet (838 pieces) are now available.

If the Quinjet seems to me at first glance rather successful, I am less enthusiastic about the War Machine Buster of the set 76124.

Quantum Suit for almost everyone in these two boxes, it's a good thing for our collections but some will find it a bit repetitive. This is obviously not the fault of LEGO which is based on the film to come.

These two boxes will bring together War Machine, Ant-Man, Thor, Hawkeye (Ronin), Black Widow and Rocket Raccoon.

The sets sheets 76123 Captain America: Outrider Battle (167 pieces), 76125 Iron Man Armor Room (524 pieces) and 76131 Avengers Compound Battle (699 pieces) are also online at amazon but without particular visuals for the moment.

30452 Iron Man and Dum-E

Unable to speak for the moment about the LEGO Marvel Avengers Endgame sets, we now know that there will be at least one polybag to accompany the planned sets.

The reference 30452 Iron Man and Dum-E will allow us to obtain an Iron Man in Quantum Suit outfit and a micro version of Dum-E, the robot-assistant present in Tony Stark's workshop.

This bag will probably be offered on condition of purchase on the LEGO Shop on the occasion of the launch of the range of products derived from the film.

76127 Captain Marvel and The Skrull Attack

Today we take a quick look at the LEGO Marvel set 76127 Captain Marvel and The Skrull Attack (307 pieces - 29.99 €), the only box based on the Captain Marvel movie expected in theaters on March 6.

To be honest, I was surprised and then disappointed by the content of the set, but I forgot that this little box of 300 pieces with its three minifigs is only sold for around XNUMX euros. Obviously, if we put all these parameters in perspective, we find some explanations that minimize the disappointment.

76127 Captain Marvel and The Skrull Attack

So don't expect to assemble a Quinjet the size of those in the sets 6869 Quinjet Aerial Battle (2012)  76032 The Avengers Quinjet City Chase (2015) et 76051 Super Hero Airport Battle (2016). This is a very compact (and vintage) version of the ship seen in the movie trailer that LEGO offers. It almost looks more like a big Microfighter than a small classic ship loosely on a minifig scale.

Only Nick Fury enters the tiny cockpit, Carol Danvers cannot fit there because of her hair too voluminous. The canopy is not fixed to the cabin, it must be removed completely to put the minifig in place and then reassemble everything. The result is hardly ridiculous for anyone accustomed to larger ships, but younger ones are likely to find what they are looking for.

76127 Captain Marvel and The Skrull Attack

The level of detail of this first generation Quinjet remains very correct even at this reduced scale and the few stickers provided largely contribute to polish the thing. Always so annoying, you have to dress the canopy of the cockpit with a few stickers and it's ugly in addition to being difficult.

The youngest will be able to knock out things using the two rocket launchers nicely integrated under the wings and whose mechanism ejects four missiles at a time. A hatch opens at the back of the ship, but other than the cat, it's hard to slip anything inside.

76127 Captain Marvel and The Skrull Attack

On the minifig side, there are some good, some not so good and some downright mediocre. Young Nick Fury is absolutely correct with his shirt, tie and holster. We do not necessarily recognize Samuel L. Jackson, but we know that it is him so we will end up convincing ourselves that there is a resemblance between the figurine and the actor.

Regarding Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, it will take even more imagination to find Brie Larson in the minifig provided. Neither the truly generic facial features already used in the LEGO Star Wars range to reproduce the face of Qi'Ra (Emilia Clarke) nor the hair color seem convincing enough to me to associate this minifigure with the one that embodies Carol Danvers. on the screen. Brie Larson seems to me to be more blonde than anything else.

76127 Captain Marvel and The Skrull Attack

The torso of Captain Marvel is successful, it is in any case faithful to the version of the outfit seen in the various trailers already released. Too bad for the legs which are here neutral and which could have benefited from a bi-injection version with red boots.

Talos, the Skrull on duty, is in my opinion a failure. The torso does the trick, but the headdress used to replicate the character's pointed ears is a bit ridiculous. In my opinion, it was enough to pad two ears without adding anything on the character's head to avoid this elf look from the Juniors range. The savings thus achieved would have made it possible to finance a fabric "skirt" to embody the sides of Talos' coat and a pair of legs in two colors for the Captain Marvel minifigure ...

I forgot, Carol Danvers is here with Goose, her cat. It is a cat identical to the one that also hung out in the Batcave (76052), In the Old Fishing Store (21310) or in the Detective's office (10246). What a cat.

In short, this set has at least the merit of existing and allowing us to obtain a new version of Nick Fury and a new minifigure of Captain "almost" Marvel after that of the set 76049 Avenjet Space Mission (2016)

The Quinjet is a micro version that can't be faulted aesthetically but is too compact to be believable and Talos' minifigure doesn't really pay homage to the character in the film.

For 30 € or a little less in the coming months, I will still make the effort to add this box to my collection because it is the only product derived from the film offered by LEGO.

Note: The set shown here, supplied by LEGO, is included as usual. To participate in the raffle, simply post a comment on this article before February 24, 2019 at 23:59 p.m.. You have every right to disagree with me, this is not eliminatory.
