The LEGO Movie Video Game: Wild West Pack

I have just returned from Disneyland Paris (where I learned that despite the FastPass tickets you really have to know how to be patient ...) and I notice that in my absence the film The LEGO Movie continues to occupy the front of the scene via some well-felt buzzs from most of the sites, blogs and forums talking about LEGO.

For those who have not followed, I will summarize below the some interesting information in question:

The British video game dealer Game.co.uk has uploaded a special version of the video game simply titled "The LEGO Movie Videogame Special Edition" which includes the "Wild west pack", a set of 4 virtual footwork for use in the game and 4 exclusive characters: Old Ollie, Wild Will, Sudds Backwash and Rootbeer Belle.

Photos a little blurry from the next DK book The LEGO Movie: The Essential Guide were posted on two forums (Eurobricks & NeoGAF) and we discover some machines that appear in the film and that could eventually end up in sets of the range: We only know 13 of the 17 sets announced around the film's release to date.

The group photo of what appears to be the team in charge of the design of the sets derived from the film is only of interest to the pirate ship to the left of the image.

McDonald's will also be celebrating in Great Britain by providing soon in its Happy Meals products derived from the film as indicated by Brickset a few days ago. It is not guaranteed that these are polybags or LEGO minifigs: The brand has already distributed LEGO stamped products which were in fact just simple goodies without interest (A example of LEGO Batman merchandise at McDo).

Finally, the publisher Scholastic, specializing in products intended for the youngest readers, offers The LEGO Movie: The Piece of Resistance, a 32-page activity book accompanied by an exclusive minifig, the cover of which is below. The same minifig will accompany the book The LEGO Movie: Mighty Allies Activity Book edited by LadyBird.

LEGO Star Wars: MicroFighters

The unlockable video with the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar mini-games allowed us to discover a Updated Dewback that many of us hope will one day arrive in a plastic version in a set from the Star Wars range.

But another scene also brings us some interesting information about possible future models of the MicroFighters range.

In the capture above, you will notice two machines parked in the parking lot when Han Solo arrives at the controls of his mini Millennium Falcon: Luke's LandSpeeder on the left and JEK-14's Stealth Starfighter on the right.

These two ships already exist in the "Chibi"from the MicroFighters range: These are two exclusive sets sold at New York Comic Con 2012 and San Diego Comic Con 2013.

We cannot conclude from these images that these two machines will be on the program of the next series of MicroFighters sets, their presence in this video could only be justified by their existence in two boxes already marketed.

For those interested, I told you about these exclusive sets and their direct relationship with the MicroFighters range last August (See this article).

Below, the TV commercial for this MicroFighters mini-range.

We'll talk briefly about the future LEGO Mixels range with the official visuals below and some useful information:

The price of the bag is set at 3.99 € and the series 1 consists of 9 bags in total, it is divided into three factions: Infernite, Cragster and Electroid.

It will be possible to combine the contents of three sachets of the same color to form an even more imposing creature (See the scan of the page below. latest german catalog).

The bags 41500 (Flain), 41501 (Vulk) and 41502 (Zorch) give a Infernite Combi, sachets 41503 (Krader), 41504 (Seismo) and 41505 (Shuff) combine to form a Cragster Combi and bags 41506 (Teslo), 42507 (Zaptor) and 41508 (Volectro) transform into a Combi Electroid.

Availability planned for March 2014.

I remind you that the LEGO Mixels concept is the result of a collaboration between LEGO and the Cartoon Network chain. The toy manufacturer will market the products derived from this new in-house franchise and the American channel will broadcast the animated short films which will serve as support.

LEGO Star Wars Dewback

To be honest, I had a lot of trouble moving forward in the lego star wars mini games on the theme of the Advent calendar that unlock the poster presenting the sets of the Microfighters range as well as the video below.

So I asked my son to tackle the task. Level 3 on Hoth gave us a hard time and the keyboard controls via the arrow keys didn't help. Some parts are very well hidden and it takes a lot of imagination to locate them ...

Anyway, I've uploaded the video below, rewarding our efforts, which features the ships of the Microfighters range and their respective pilots, including a hilarious remake of the pod race of theEpisode I..
But above all we discover a new generation Dewback. However, there is no indication that this figurine will actually be available in ABS plastic at a later date. But I'm like most of you, I want to believe it ...

(Thanks to everyone who wrote to me about this)

Lego minecraft

The LEGO team in charge of developing the Minecraft "scale" minifig range has just uploaded this visual to wish happy holidays to fans of the dedicated facebook page to this project.

On several occasions, the designers appealed to fans via surveys on the various prototypes of animals, places or characters to help them progress in the adaptation of the license to the LEGO sauce.

With a few minor changes and a few stickers less (though ...), the end result is probably in the image above. It will be without me, but I readily understand the enthusiasm aroused by this new interpretation of the Minecraft universe with characters, animals and cult objects from the game.
