LEGO The Hobbit: The Video Game

Some info about the ongoing development of the LEGO The Hobbit video game expected in spring 2014: Jimmy McLoughlin, Game Director at TT Games, announced on the blog dedicated to LEGO video games that it will be possible to embody all the members of the troop of Dwarves led by Thorin (That's the least of things ...) and that a new partnership system (Buddy System in the text) will allow Hobbits and Dwarves to combine their skills to solve puzzles, defeat their enemies and work as a team to reach Erebor.

It will also be possible to customize your own horse, Warg or pony ...

I remind you that the game will be based only on the first two opus of the film trilogy (An Unexpected Journey et The Desolation of Smaug), which makes sense given its release date.

The game is currently pre-order at amazon UK in Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo WiiU, PC, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, XBOX 360 and XBOX One versions. No special edition accompanied for example by an exclusive minifigure in view for the moment.

30215 Legolas Greenleaf

Here is a first real photo of the LEGO The Hobbit 30215 polybag with the minifig of Legolas Greenleaf, a target and a missile launcher flick fire.

This polybag is already for sale on eBay for the modest sum of 19.99 € postage included (Click here to access the ad).

Some wonder where the point is in releasing a polybag with a character like Legolas, where a generic orc would do the trick and allow fans to build an army cheaply through the purchase of multiple bags.

But these polybags are above all appeal products whose vocation is to attract new customers in the infernal circle of passion for LEGO ... And Legolas being one of the important characters of the second part of the The Hobbit trilogy and I have no doubt about the interest this bag will arouse among fans who have not yet converted to the LEGO universe.

Blinking Ewok

A little humor that doesn't hurt, here's a brickfilm directed by Kevin Ulrich and the band Brotherhood Workshop which reminds us that the Ewoks are not the nice cubs that Dorothée was promoting in her cult song "The Little Ewoks"which even earned him a Victoire de la musique in 1985.

Don't be fooled by these plush toys, although George Lucas tried to make them less scary by giving them a few blinks in the Blu-ray version of the saga. Ewoks never blink, they stare at you all the time and only think about one thing ...
