Lego minecraft

Some info on the two new upcoming LEGO Minecraft sets that I told you about a few weeks ago (See this article).

We therefore learn that the next two sets of what thus becomes a mini-range would be identified under the following names: 21105 LEGO Minecraft: The Nether (Game Hell with lava and dark rocks) and 21106 LEGO Minecraft: The Village (A set of Tan colored dwellings occupied by the NPCs in the game).

It will probably be two boxes of the same size as the set 21102 LEGO Minecraft Micro World released in 2012 and then sold at the public price of 34.99 €.

LEGO has yet to officially confirm a release date or retail price for these two sets.

Fana'Briques 2013

Back from Fana'Briques 2013 after a few long hours on the road and a little message to thank the teams of BrickPirate et brick 66 for their warm and friendly welcome to their stand constantly attacked by visitors and which brought together superb creations. The record crowd around MOCs crammed with details of winks presented and the amazed gaze of parents and children will have given a smile to all these talented MOCers who worked long months for three days of contact with the public.

It was also an opportunity to see some members already met on various occasions and to meet some of whom I had only the nickname as a reference until now. Being able to put a face on a nickname and exchange a few words with people you only know virtually is a unique experience which in itself justifies the trip.

Well done to the volunteers who dedicate themselves body and soul to make the visit as pleasant as possible. The exhibition area having been revised upwards, circulation between the tables was greatly improved, especially for parents equipped with strollers.

Thank you also to the fans of the facebook page and to the readers of the blog who showed up on the spot, it's always nice to meet "in real" all those who share with me this passion for LEGO.

I do not regret my quick trip to Rosheim, with the feeling that the organizers are trying to improve things from year to year. The addition of a top-of-the-range marquee to extend the exhibition area has brought a "pro" side to the whole by highlighting the exhibitors' creations in a clean and bright environment.

I added photos on the dedicated page, but given the number of visitors armed with their devices and other camcorders, you should find in the hours and days that come many galleries on flickr as well as on the various French-speaking forums.

As you can see, an exhibition is a large gathering of LEGO creations, but also a place where you can meet all these MOCeurs who put their talent at the service of the public. Internet, forums and flickr are good, but nothing beats a meeting "in person" to share your passion.

Fana'Briques 2013

Small tour at the end of the day on the exhibition Fana'Briques 2013 which takes place this weekend in Rosheim to get a first glimpse of what is on offer this year.

First impression: There is room to move between the tables and that is a very good thing. The aisles are wider than last year and it breathes.

Many exhibitors were still polishing their presentations and many visitors had come for this "night" of the first day.

I have uploaded some photos of the BrickPirate stand on the dedicated page (Click on the image), just to give you a taste of what you will find there or to make you regret not coming ...

I will spend a good part of the day tomorrow there. I will put more photos online in the process.
