FBTB was a little too fast in the job by unveiling and then hastily removing the sets scheduled for presentation at this New York Comic Con 2012 ... And so we learned that the 79000 sets and 79010 from the LEGO The Hobbit line will be officially announced during the convention. 

Nothing new, we have already discovered these two sets in recent days thanks to the famous poster distributed by Toys R Us. And the windows of Comic Con do not pay homage to the sets concerned as well as these more elaborate visuals. 

The and 79010 The Goblin King Battle appears to be rather plush. It is dense and well supplied in minifigs. The and 79000 Riddles for the Ring is a booster that allows you to get two minifigs and the Ring at a lower cost. The rock and the boat are anecdotal.

Nothing very exciting on the LEGO stand for us who follow the news of the brand on a daily basis. Visitors flock there mainly to try to obtain the exclusive products that are sold or offered by lottery. So the minifig Dark Turtle was offered during a raffle which required having obtained or (or more) numbered tickets from the LEGO staff present on the stand. 

Apart from the presentation of the TMNT set that we have already seen, not much was happening on the stand. The other side of the stand is dedicated to the trade fair LEGO store. And the boxes of the exclusive LEGO Star Wars set are displayed on shelves right behind the vendors, as if to taunt anyone who arrived too late to get a ticket to purchase this set. 

Back from New York Comic Con after a busy afternoon. Obviously, we had to take a ticket and stand in line to get the exclusive set LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker's Mini Landpseeder sold for $ 39.99 or $ 43.54 with local tax.

250 boxes were distributed today and it will be the same in the next three days with the rule of first come, first served. As much to say to you that it is the crush and that the queue stretches inexorably until exhaustion of the tickets of the day. 

Can't get more than one box per person, believe me I tried ...

I post here the photos taken at the moment of the contents of this set. Sorry for the background, I did this in a hurry on the bed in my hotel room. A few interesting pieces in the set's inventory and the result is quite nice. I have other photos that I would put in the gallery dedicated to NYCC 2012.

The static page of official website of The Hobbit range has finally been replaced by a teasing on the various sets of the range which will be gradually unveiled in the coming weeks.

The and 79003 An Unexpected Gathering (see the presentation video by the designer of the set below, which at least deserves his salary) is presented with superb visuals, while waiting to discover in more detail the other sets of the range which we have had a glimpse of these these days (see this article).

The LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles range has therefore been officially announced and the first set 79104 The Shellraiser Street Chase (visual above) will be unveiled at the LEGO stand during New York Comic Con 2012. According to the official press release, the range will launch in January 2013 in the US and Great Britain and later this year for the rest of the world.
