LEGO has just sent its VIP newsletter and announces the official opening on October 18 of the Lego store from the SO OUEST shopping center located 16 rue de Lorraine in Levallois-Perret.
The LEGO Store will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 21:00 p.m.

As has been said time and time again in the comments, don't expect anything miraculous on the price side: The prices outside of the special promotion will be the LEGO Shop retail prices.
After the opening, it will remain to be seen to what extent this LEGO Store will offer regular promotional operations or exclusive products (No mention in the newsletter of any exclusive product for this opening).

Here is some info about the next promotion of the British newspaper The Sun which should start on October 27th and end on November 4th.
For once the list is rather centered on the LEGO Super Heroes and Lord of the Rings range, which promises us a good availability of the polybags concerned on Bricklink at attractive prices, competition obliges.
I am especially interested in the 30162 LEGO Super Heroes Marvel: Quinjet polybag which is a priori the first appearance in volume and whose price should be correct with the many resellers who will not fail to offer it in the days following its availability. .

I remind you of the principle of this promotion reserved for readers of the newspaper in Great Britain: The newspaper is sold with a coupon allowing to withdraw the set concerned in the stores associated with the operation. It is impossible to benefit from this operation to obtain these sets in France, they are not sold with the newspaper itself.

A playset with many features that should appeal to younger people who have seen the film and minifig collectors.

LEGO does not forget to promote its ranges and takes advantage of New York Comic Con to announce an animated feature film entitled LEGO Batman: The Movie DC Super Heroes Unite which will be released in 2013.  

We will be treated to a melting pot of everything the LEGO / DC universe has villains and superheroes: The Joker, The Penguin, Two-Face, The Riddler, Harley Quinn and Lex Luthor vs. Batman, Robin, Superman , Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Cyborg, Green Lantern and even Commissioner Gordon.

We don't know much more about this feature film at the moment. But Warner and LEGO will not fail to offer us multiple trailers in the coming months. 

It's Saturday and it's the day we go to Comic Con with the family. Large crowds in the living room bays, difficult to move around. Even the LEGO showcase that featured the LEGO Super Heroes Marvel set 76005 Spider-Man: Daily Bugle Showdown had taken hits. The minifigs found it difficult to stay upright.

For all those who asked me by email what the space dedicated to autograph sessions looks like, here are two images. The first is the rows dedicated to autograph sessions for has-been stars (or cult, it depends on taste) or in the making.

The second image is the stand where you have to get the "autograph ticket"for Carrie Fisher ($ 60) and Ian Mc Darmid ($ 125). There was nothing to see, everything was obscured by the black curtains and the queue was already substantial.
