LEGO Star Wars 6005192 TC-14 Exclusive Minifig

You don't have a facebook account? You don't like facebook? Are you too young to have an account? You think it's unfair that alone Hoth Bricks Fans on facebook have the right to win one of the TC-14 Chrome Silver involved?

I have the solution: I also put in play 2 additional copies directly on the blog.

The rule is simple: You just need to have posted at least once a comment on one of the articles of the blog (any one) to participate in the draw which will take place after April 30, 2012 and which will designate the 2 winners of the coveted bag. If you've never posted a comment here, do so, it's not dangerous.
There is no point in spamming articles, one comment is enough. There is also no point in posting dozens of comments with different nicknames, the system is a little smarter than that ...

I don't want to organize a quiz or put too many constraints, it's up to you to play the game. Only luck will decide who will be able to win one of the 2 bags put into play here. winners will be contacted individually by email (Make sure you enter a valid email when posting the comment).

I hope that I have met your expectations and your comments and I wish you all good luck.

PS: Don't worry about your email addresses, I don't sell them, I don't spam, and everything is secure as much as possible.

Culture Lego - The book "The Cult of Lego" in French, and in a luxury edition!

You have 3 days left, until Wednesday April 18 2012, to offer you LEGO Culture, the book by Joe Meno and John Baichtal translated into French. For 45 €, you will receive the book directly at home, accompanied by some nice bonuses and you can thus waste a few precious hours of your OMC time to discover or rediscover in French version this summary of everything you need to know about the LEGO world.

The draw of the Luxe edition will be limited and it would be a shame not to have taken this opportunity to pay for this book at its fair price rather than at the exorbitant price that I predict you on eBay ...

Several formulas are available, for all budgets, and I remind you that by buying this book (I do not touch anything on sales, let it be clear), you are helping to inform publishers that we are asking for quality books. in French around our passion.

If you don't care about this ideological thought, buy this book anyway, you will have a nice gift in advance for your boyfriend or your brother-in-law who spends his days locked in his office polishing his MOCs ...

LEGO Olympic Team GB minifigures

You had the info, hard to miss since yesterday: LEGO would release a mini-range of 9 mini-figures in bags representing the British athletes who will be present at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London next June. This exclusive series of minifigs would only be distributed in Great Britain.

The concern is that this information is based on a single visual that does not necessarily inspire confidence in everyone. The photo is bad, the presentation simplistic, everything is coated with a visual of a box and a bag on which these athletes appear strangely all with a gold medal around their neck ... In short, something to doubt.

But on Briket, many forumers advance the fact that they know British toy store managers who have received an email from LEGO offering to place their orders on this range. With this image as a presentation of what this range could be. LEGO has accustomed us to sometimes very simplified preliminary visuals, but this is still a lot.

Overall, opinions are divided. The more enthusiastic believe in it and can even try to bid on eBay on a seller's announcement (or a crook, the rest will tell) who indicates that he is selling his minifigs, but that it is a pre-order that will be available within a month ... The others are convinced that this is just a bad joke from a good Photoshop hack that has tricked the biggest blogs in the LEGOsphere. Eurobricks just changed the title of his news to something less affirmative ...

And you what do you think ?

Lego star wars minifigs

Exhibiting your minifigs is both a pleasure and a source of hassle: How to showcase dozens of minifigs while managing space, visibility and dust ... Many AFOLs have found their solution in the form of a frame Ikea and a few glued pieces to serve as a base.

Artamir is no exception to the rule: frames, pieces to present the minifigs and voila.

But I got stuck for a few minutes on his flickr gallery admiring his first three frames of Star Wars minifigs. As a big fan of the LEGO line based on the saga, I couldn't resist the pleasure of seeing these 300 minifigs lined up and I told myself that the Star Wars line is truly the best the manufacturer has ever produced ...

If you like Star Wars minifigs, take a look at his flickr gallery, the photos are available in high resolution and it's worth it ...

LEGO Lord of the Rings - New horses

It's Matt Ashton, Senior Creative Director at LEGO, who gives some information about the new horses that are appearing for the first time with the LEGO Lord of the Rings range.

In a few words, he notes that the children / customers of the brand have expressed their frustration due to the limited playability and the too childish design of the old horse models.

The new version can finally move its hind legs, making it more playable. The design has also been revised to make it more current.

He also notes that the old model is perceived as a symbol of the LEGO universe by some customers but that the design of the new horse has been designed to respect that of the old one and to pay it some homage.

Existing saddles remain compatible with newer versions, and the current bard can also be used on new horses. On the other hand, it does not allow the animal to take a pose on its hind legs. A new version of bard will be developed by LEGO.

On the other hand, the head accessories of the current range are not compatible with the new models. These parts will also soon be replaced by compatible versions.

The gentleman then apologizes for the frustration some collectors may feel and assures us that LEGO strives to provide the best products and the best gaming experience to its customers.

The original version of Matt Ashton's statement is available in English on Eurobricks.
