Even if the abbreviation LEGO did not appear until 1934, it was in 1932 that the Danish carpenter Ole Kirk Kristiansen started his activity of manufacturing wooden toys, before launching in 1948 wooden building blocks then in 1949 plastic bricks.
LEGO intends to celebrate its 90 years in 2022 and is launching a vote for the occasion to choose the theme that will be responsible for ensuring the bulk of the festivities via an 18+ set.
The voting sequence will take place in two phases: from January 17 to 25, 2021, you can choose up to three themes among the thirty that will be put to the vote. The results of this first phase of voting will be public.
The three most popular themes will then be put to the vote again on February 3, 2021 and the one that wins will be the theme of the set celebrating the brand's 90th anniversary. The result of this second voting sequence will remain confidential so that the selected topic is not known before the official announcement of the product concerned.
To vote for the three themes among the thirty proposed (Trains, Town, Classic Space, Classic Castle, Lion Kings, Black Falcons, Model Team, Forestmen, Blacktron, Black Knights, Pirates, Imperials, Space Police, M-Tron, Wolfpack, Paradisa, Dragon Knights, Ice Planet, Aquazone, Spyrius , Exploriens, Time Cruisers, Divers, Adventurers, Xtreme Team, Rock Raiders, Studios, Bionicle, Arctic et Alpha team) that you think deserve to be highlighted on the occasion of the brand's 0th anniversary, it is at this address that it happens.
