It's signed: Universal has just announced that the second installment in the Jurassic World saga will be released on June 22, 2018 on screens around the world.
Jurassic World 2 will see Chris Pratt (Owen) and Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire) reprise their respective roles.
Now that the date is known, let's hope that LEGO will provide minimum service in 2016 and 2017 to prolong the interest of the general public in this line, with a few boxes that will help keep fans awake while waiting for the theatrical release of the second film.
Let's also hope that LEGO will make an effort to apply itself to offer sets whose content will be closer to what the film offers. Jurassic World is a worldwide success, it will be released in a few months on Blu-ray / DVD and LEGO no longer has any excuse to justify the approximations and the "inventions" present in some of the sets currently on the market.
All this will of course be possible if the sales figures of the sets currently available are convincing. Everyone will have an opinion on the success of the LEGO Jurassic World line based on the condition of the shelves of their favorite toy store, but no one other than LEGO is really in a position to reliably assess sales volume. real of these boxes.
While everyone had already buried the 10188 Death Star set and prices were starting to skyrocket on some classified ad sites, LEGO has just put a stop to the rumors by adding a discreet mention in the product sheet on the LEGO Shop US: " We are currently making more, so please check back soon for availability".
This message is clear: LEGO is relaunching a production wave for this box which therefore retains its status as an exclusive set with the longest lifespan until proven otherwise, with for the moment 7 years of presence in the LEGO catalog.
The soap opera continues ...
LEGO was kind enough to put online the panel dedicated to the world of Marvel super heroes at LEGO which took place during the San Diego Comic Con in the presence of designer Marcos Bessa.
If you have 45 minutes in front of you, take the shade and relive this very interesting panel as if you were there.
Summer offers continue in the LEGO Shop and in the LEGO Stores: Until July 30, LEGO is offering polybag 30274 AT-DP for any purchase of at least € 55 in the LEGO Star Wars range.
This new offer can be combined with the one, clearly not limited to the Friends, Elves and Disney Princess ranges, which makes it possible to obtain the Friends 30205 Pop Star Red Carpet polybag from 30 € of purchase.
The two sachets are automatically added to the basket as soon as the threshold of 55 € is reached.
Two little info from new catalog from the Argos merchant (UK) concerning the series 14 of collectible minifigs: This series of 16 minifigs will therefore bear the label Monsters with the logo present on the visual above, and at the same time, we discover a fifth minifigure of this eagerly awaited series in final version (totally identical to that of the visual which had fueled the discussions at the beginning of the year) : The Mad Scientist.
Five minifigs are therefore identified for the moment (see this visual: Rocker monster, crazy witch, skeleton guy, Vampire Lady et Mad Scientist.
11 minifigs remain to be discovered in their final version: The Fly, Gargoyle, Grim Reaper, Ghost / Phantom, Bigfoot, Tiger Woman, Werewolf, Zombie Cheerleader, Zombie Businessman, Zombie Pirate Captain and Plant Monster.
Fans of the Scooby-Doo line will find in this Series 14 new enemies for their team of heroes and anyone who loved the now defunct Monster Fighters line will likely be in heaven.
Update : Below, some pictures of the minifigs of this series Monsters, uploaded by Idle Hands, with in order: Grim Reaper, Zombie Cheerleader, Gargoyle, Bigfoot, Skeleton Guy, Rocker Monster, Vampire Lady, Plant Monster and Zombie Businessman.
We only have 6 minifigs left to discover ...
