The man is not only gifted but he is also generous and does not hesitate to share his creations for free so that as many people as possible can enjoy them.

It's rather rare these days, and it deserves a tip of the hat: HJ Media Studios has just made all of its armor (Iron Man, Iron Patriot, War Machine) available in the form of a decals (faces, busts, back, legs) ready to use that you can download by clicking here: Iron Man Designs (Resolution 4333x5966) or by going directly to his flickr gallery.

No compensation is requested, it is just necessary to respect the work provided by not using these creations for commercial purposes.

A fine example of community sharing and generosity.

Iron Man 3 Hall of Armor by axard007

A little Sunday nod to the Hall of Armor at frenchy axard007.
The best way to stage our Iron Man minifigs is obviously to store them neatly in a MOC in Tony Stark's lab ...

At the risk of repeating myself, I really regret that LEGO does not offer us a "stand"of this type in the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes range. No need to include all versions of Iron Man released to date, it would have been enough to leave the slots empty and everyone would have been motivated to gradually acquire the different armor and complete its collection in this emblematic setting of the Iron Man trilogy.

Discover the nice MOC of axard007 on his flickr gallery and look for the Mandarin who makes a discreet appearance in guest star...

Chrome Silver Surfer by minifigures.pl

It's no secret, I love custom minifigs.

They allow me to add characters to my collection that LEGO probably does not intend to offer us in the official circuit and I am always on the lookout for new creations.

Minifigures.pl highlights on his flickr gallery these chrome minifigs which will a priori be marketed soon on the online store being set up that you will find at this address.

These first images let predict a final result to the height of my requirements in particular as regards the finish ... It remains to be seen the asking price for Batman, Silver Surfer, Copper Venom and Spidey 2099. If the prices are reasonable, I will certainly let me try.

LEGO Star Wars Holocron Droid

A quick feedback on this Holocron Droid to let you know that GRogall (The man has decidedly the resource ...) has just sent me the original pdf file of the instructions to reproduce the little robot responsible for giving Yoda the files serving as a support for the stories developed in The Yoda Chronicles saga.

Several of you have contacted me by email about the operation which took place in the American LEGO Stores to obtain this little robot for free and I therefore offer you these instructions for direct download at this address.

A polybag would not have been refused, but it will be necessary to be satisfied with this file ... If someone has dared to try to reproduce the serigraphy of the upper dish that we see on the visual opposite below form of decal, let him point out in the comments, that will undoubtedly interest some of you.

Last minute addition: So as not to create confusion: By clicking on the image above, you access the instructions for reproducing the Holocron Droid in the image. Here, you access the official LEGO instructions for reproducing the Holocron Droid from the promotional operation. Thanks to FetCh in the comments.

Cuusoo: Mission accomplished for Brent Waller and his Tumbler

It took more than a year for Brent Waller's Tumbler reaches 10.000 supporters on Cuusoo. It's done and this long-term project therefore integrates the review phase scheduled for June 2013 during which the LEGO team made up of designers and eminent members of the manufacturer's staff will decide whether or not to produce this magnificent MOC. and possibly to market it in the form of an official set.

I am not convinced that this project will succeed: This MOC dates from 2008, the year of the cinema release of the first opus of Christopher Nolan's trilogy, the instructions have since been provided free of charge by the MOCeur, the saga The Dark Knight will not have more recent cinematographic news by the time LEGO decides to go into production, that is to say in a year at best ... We could find dozens of other reasons why LEGO refuses to produce this Tumbler, moreover, very successful. I introduced you elsewhere  in february 2012 on this blog the camouflage version seen in the third episode of the saga.

Obviously, if some LEGO adventure decides to offer us a Tumbler worthy of the name, I will be the first to invest some money to add it to my collection. It would also help me to forget the shapeless vehicle we were treated to at the start of the year in the set. 76001 The Bat vs. Bane - Tumbler Chase...

So let's wish Brent Waller the best of luck and keep our fingers crossed ...
