It is Toys R Us Hong Kong which reveals the contents of the LEGO Super Heroes Marvel polybag - 30167 Iron Man vs. Fighting Drone.
This sachet will be offered as part of a promotion on Sunday January 6, 2013.
The Iron Man minifigure is identical to the one we already got in 2012 in the set 6867 Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape.
It's hard to say if this minifigure accompanied by a combat drone is intended to reproduce, even vaguely, a scene from the film Iron Man 3 which will be released in May 2013.
I do not remember having seen Iron Man fight against a drone in the two previous games, nor in The Avengers for that matter.
No trace for the moment of the other polybag planned for early 2013: 30166 Robin and Redbird Cycle.
To start 2013 off well, Omar Ovalle is blessing us with a superb creation that expands his series of alternative LEGO sets "Here I go set 3".
As usual, the presentation is impeccable. The visual of the virtual box would make you crack even an open AFOL.
The AT-OT Walker, a modified version of the machine from set 10195, is here accompanied by a squad of Galactic Marines led by Ki-Adi-Mundi which is the result of collaborative work between different sizes in the field of custom.
Jared "Fine Clonier"Burks created and supplied the decals, all fabric pieces were created by MMCBcapes.com.au, Commander Bacara's helmet comes from area light, and Xero Fett took care of assembling these minifigs (Painting, decals).
That's all I have to offer you ... A reference: 10237 The Tower of Orthanc, and an image: The one in the white frame above.
On this image that comes from motayan's flickr gallery, the tower itself has been blurred, but we can clearly distinguish the dimensions indicated in inches, which when converted to cm give us a high building of 73 cm and a base with a diameter of 21 cm.
We can see the edge of the logo "Confidential"usual at LEGO and this visual therefore seems to come from a document that is not intended for the general public (the p that we see is the last letter of GROUP).
If all this is not a fake, with such measurements, we will be entitled to a set of type UCS, Modular, Collector, call it what you want, but it will be very, very heavy ...
Edit of January 06, 2013: GRogall, generally well informed, confirms without further precision the existence of the set 10237 The Tower of Orthanc.
30240 Z-95 Headhunter & 30241 Gauntlet (Pre Viszla Mandalorian Starfighter)
It did not take long for the first visuals of the 2013 polybags from the LEGO Star Wars range to appear.
As I told you before, I am a fan of these sachets and therefore I will not be objective about them.
That being said, this 2013 batch promises to be pretty cool with these 3 ships and this gun, microphone versions of their counterparts in System format.
I would add that the packaging with Yoda is perfect and that the visuals are really highlighted on the packaging. It's colorful, it flashes and it makes you want to.
