lego ucs amazon

Small morning recap of the very interesting prices charged by amazon.fr on 3 UCS sets.

I take this opportunity to answer the many questions received by email and reiterate that the prices below are updated automatically every 15 minutes as is the case on the price comparison pricevortex.com. The time lag between a price change at amazon and this table cannot therefore exceed 15 minutes.

Due to very high traffic on the comparator at certain times of the day, there may be a little lag time in the display of prices. No need to refresh the page.

Note that Amazon Italy has still not resumed shipments to Europe.

Click on the prices in the table below to access the sheet of each product at amazon, or on the image above to go to pricevortex.com.

LEGO Star Wars 75014 Battle of Hoth

Forward for the visuals of the set, which we didn't know much about so far: 75014 Battle of Hoth.

This is the site exoforce.ru who had already uploaded the description of the set that publishes these images.

On the menu, a Snowspeeder, a Speederbike, shovel minifigs (5 aligned on the box but 6 in action and 7 on the visual), blasters, a communication turret, a Tauntaun, a Probe Droid, in short, a great Battle Pack.

tank banned fanworld

This is an incident the community could have done without.

The convention Fanworld 2012 which took place from 22 to 25 November 2012 in Cologne was the scene of a show which a priori does not honor either the main actor or the manufacturer: Jan Beyer, . of the brand, which moves with the events, has gone a little crazy and for a very simple reason: The presence of a tank MOC on one of the stands at the show. An MOC which reproduced a fictitious device and not an existing or previously existing military device.

At least that's what the exhibitor in question relates on his flickr gallery where he explains that Jan Beyer asked him to immediately remove his machine from the table on which it was presented.

However, the MOCeur had obtained the approval of those in charge of the organization of the convention and no remark had been formulated about the "military" aspect of this tank (obviously ...).

Without disassembling himself, Andreas, the MOCeur in question, asked Jan Beyer to produce the document that would possibly mention the ban on exhibiting this type of device at the show. And there the . He seems to have "gone wild", getting angry with MOCeur and his friends and threatening to ban it by convention in the future.

In his account of this incident, Andreas also mentions, without making any connection or accusing anyone, that a Leopard II tank MOC intended to be presented to the public disappeared the night before the opening of the demonstration to the public.

What to think of this event? Did Jan Beyer show overzealousness in trying to enforce LEGO's policy on military devices? Was he within his rights by asking MOCeur not to present this type of device to the public and in particular to the children present? What to think of the manufacturer's variable geometry morality, represented here by one of its employees, with its many ranges involving violence (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Agents, Batman, etc ...?

I let you judge, and I invite you to go on the MOCeur flickr gallery which relates the incident in question, many comments fuel the debate.

Batman 3-Wheeler by Kyubi66

Well, I play Jean-Marc Généreux in the title and it's not good, but I love this guy.

Let's come back to our sheep with this crazy thing that Kyubi66 offers us: A three-wheeled machine, a sort of improbable cross between a Batmobile and a Batwing, completely connected with the universe of Batman (Not that of Nolan, the other .. .) that Tim Burton would not have denied.

Everything is there, the colors (black and yellow are still colors that immediately identify the owner of the machine), the curves, the guns, the bubble on the cockpit ... Not to mention the very successful and heavy consumer of batarangs.

To see more, it's on Kyubi66's flickr gallery or the Brickpirate forum that it happens.
