LEGO Star Wars TV Special - Cartoon Network

A blogger passionate about Ben10 (and that's saying something ...) has put online the new campaign to promote the programs of the Cartoon Network channel. We discover some images of a LEGO Star Wars cartoon that will probably be released soon, as was the case with The Padawan Menace.

Until you learn more, you can still get the version Blu-ray of The Padawan Menace with the exclusive minifig of young Han Solo for less than 10 €

LEGO Legends of Chima 2013

Edit (12/09/2012 - 16:00 p.m.): Illustrative image of this item removed at the request of LEGO.

The first images of this new LEGO theme filter through in a somewhat unusual way: It's via an eBay listing dated July 15, 2012 that we find out what the set looks like 70113 Chi Battles.

First observation, the famous page of the LEGO Magazine sporting a mysterious logo and the mention 2013 made reference to this new range.

The seller, located in the USA, therefore offers this set of 442 pieces, advertised as a pre-production version and stamped with the word CONFIDENTIAL. On the content itself, nothing too crazy at first glance: Two somewhat strange characters, two vehicles with a big wheel based on the principle of a spinning top that must be thrown, playing cards. Beyblade with LEGO sauce ...

These images which should not stay online for very long can be seen on the eBay listing in question.

The Pillars of the Kings by ShaydDeGrai

Nice MOC that this reconstruction of the pass also known under the name of Gates of Argonath. The rock drape effect (I don't know if I'm making myself understood ...) on the two statues is stunning, both light and massive ((I hope you follow ...).

The intelligent shooting gives an even more majestic air to the two stone giants.

To see more, it's on ShaydDeGrai's MOCpages space that it happens.

The Hobbit - John Callen as Oin - LEGO Minifig

Actor John Callen, who plays Oin in The Hobbit trilogy, has just unveiled the minifig version of his character himself and this photo is starting to circulate.

The link to this image was posted on theonering.net forum.

I allowed myself to clarify it a bit, just to discover this new minifigure in good conditions ...

Midi-Scale Venator by Masked Builder I've always loved the Midi format and I regret that LEGO didn't release more sets on this scale. Yet the two sets already released are very convincing: The 7778 Mid-scale Millennium Falcon released in 2009 and 8099 Midi-Scale Imperial Star Destroyer released in 2010.

Masked Builder presents its second version of the Venator at this scale and it is successful: The compromise between the reduced size and the level of detail is ideal for my taste. With a small discreet support, this vessel can take pride of place in the living room without taking up too much space ... Obviously, with this format, some compromises must be made to maintain the general appearance of the machine, but the goal here is not not to offer a model with perfect proportions.
