Bag End, The Counsel of Elrond & Last march of the ents by Karrde

Let's be clear from the outset: These aren't the MOCs of the century and Harry Russell aka Karrde isn't claiming they are, but there is a certain freshness to these three Lord of the Rings themed MOCs. It's simple, beautifully executed, perfectly photographed, with some great building ideas, and visually it works. I ask no more.

The purists will always be able to find some reproaches to make, but these achievements are not perfect reproductions of events or places of the universe Lord of the Rings, they do not have any more the pretension as the MOCeur says it. himself.
So let yourself go, take a look at his flickr gallery and you will discover some interesting details like the wall demolished by an angry Ent or the waterfall coming out of the rocks ...

Cad Bane's Swoop Bike by Omar Ovalle

Not much to eat at the moment: On the news side, it's stalled with a rumor from time to time and resellers who still hesitate to secretly publish the photos of the catalog intended for them. We are satisfied with very little, with a few set numbers and still no preliminary visual. If now retailers start respecting the privacy rules imposed by LEGO, where is the world going?

On the Star Wars MOC side, it's also a bit of a shortage. So to end the week before a beautiful weekend announced as very sunny and which already invites us to take the air rather than stay locked up in the haunted house of set 10228 acquired at a low price, I offer you this Beautifully crafted Cad Bane's Swoop Bike proposed by Omar Ovalle, which I would also have the opportunity to meet in the flesh during my trip to New York Comic Con.

Batpod, The Bat & Tumbler by j7boy

I know, I know, we're only talking about Tumbler, Batpod and other Bat right now. The fault with The Dark Knight Rises which inspires the MOCeurs while waiting for another film to take up the torch. The Avengers has also inspired some MOCeurs, but it's not the Quinjet and Helicarrier overdose that one might have expected ...

In short, here are two MOCeurs which offer interesting things: j7boy shows us the total: The Bat, Tumbler and Batpod. It is very detailed, the three devices are very consistent with each other and on his flickr gallery you can admire them in detail. Special mention for The Bat, which here is as messy as the one in the film, and that's not a review. The complex side of the machine is very well rendered.

Jared Chan offers us an original and well thought out Batpod. but I'm going to tell you the truth, what I like most about this MOC is the support ... To see it from other angles go to on his flickr gallery.

LEGO SuperHeroes 2013

I scrape the bottom of the drawer and the rumor of the day comes from Brickipedia, and the word rumor therefore takes on its full meaning ...

While we already know four of the LEGO Super Heroes sets from the first wave 2013, an anonymous contributor who knows a guy who works at LEGO (?!) Announces the existence of two more sets:

An Arkham Asylum set (with the minifigs that we discovered at San Diego Comic Con : Harley Quinn, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, etc ...) and a set with The Penguin with his mini submarine and Robin, possible remake of the 7885 Robin's Scuba Jet: Attack of The Penguin set released in 2008.

If I tell you about it here, it's first because it's very calm at the moment but it's mainly because these two sets are plausible, if we stick to the list of minifigs seen during SDCC 2012.

For the rest, the four sets already announced are as follows:

- Tumbler + The Bat (TDKR) with Batman, Gordon and Bane
- Batboat with Batman, Freeze and Aquaman
- Spider-Man with a vehicle, Venom and Nick Fury
- Spider-Man with J. Jonah Jameson, Doctor Doom and Ultimate Beetle, and a plane
