The Star Wars panel held during Celebration VI will not have revealed much, but the last slide presented confirms the list of sets for early 2013 that JediNews gave us a few days ago.

A Visual Dictionary with an exclusive new minifigure is planned for 2014, and a new video game based on the LEGO Star Wars license is currently under development.

No image of the new sets was revealed during this panel.

LEGO Lord of the Rings - Keychains

Here are three new key rings in the LEGO Lord of the Rings range offered by an eBay seller (which also offers a pack of magnets with Frodo, Samwise Gamgee and a Ringwraith). We find Gandalf the Gray, Gimli and a Mordor Orc that some will probably buy in volume to build an army at a lower cost.

However, you still have to remove the "pin" embedded in the minifigure, without destroying the latter. Some employ the barbaric method and use pliers to pull the "pin".
Below, I share with you a method presented by TheBrickBlogger, which consists of using a soldering iron and briefly heating the loop of the "pin" while pulling to extract it cleanly.

Be careful not to leave the soldering iron too long in contact with the "pin", otherwise the plastic of the minifig may melt.
Watch the video below carefully to understand how to do this:

Star Wars Celebration VI: Star Wars Detours

The animated series Star Wars Detours, in gestation of then 2009, was finally unveiled in images during Celebration VI.

On the menu, a comedy series with the writing of big names who have worked on The Simpsons, Family Guy, SpongeBob or Battlestar Galactica and you will understand it after watching this trailer, Seth Green and Matthew Senreich (Robot Chicken ) who are also in the game.

As far as we're concerned, I'm already worried about seeing LEGO release a Star Wars Detours range filled with chibi-minifigs with big head intended for the youngest ...

Two other clips are available on Star Wars YouTube channel.

LEGO Super Heroes DC Universe & Marvel Magnet Packs

Two new magnet packs are offered by this seller on ebay. We therefore find in the Marvel pack: Magneto, Captain America and Iron Man. The DC Universe Pack contains Wonder Woman, Superman, and Two-Face.

We had already been entitled to a first pack in February 2012 which contained Batman, Red Robin and the Joker.

Nothing too crazy though: These minifigs are the ones that are also available in the sets of the range, and moreover they are glued on their base. It is possible to take them off without too much breakage, but the operation still damages the plastic.

Star Wars Celebration VI: LEGO Star Wars - Rancor Pit

If anything comes out of Celebration VI when it comes to never before seen new stuff, it won't be on the LEGO booth ... sirstevesguide.com uploaded photos of the stand in question, and the least we can say is that it smells warm. We find old sets dating from early 2012, 2011, the Rancor Pit and nothing else ...

Some sets are the same as those presented in preliminary version during the New York Toy Fair 2012. Hopefully, LEGO will take advantage of this event by still unveiling a brand new set at tomorrow's panel titled "History of LEGO Sets"whose description says this:"The LEGO group has a rich history with the Star Wars brand. Throughout this panel you'll observe changes and chapters in the saga. Books and resources will be presented as well as examples of various kits sold by LEGO since the Star Wars license began."
