The Dark Knight Rises - The Bat by BaraSH

This is not the first MOC of the flying machine seen in The Dark Knight Rises aka The Bat, and certainly not the last, but BaraSH offers a very clean realization, all in lightness with among others the use very about minifig bases from the collectable series.

It is nicely photographed and you will find many other views on the topic dedicated to this MOC at Eurobricks.

Smaug - Fat Tony 1138

The greedy dragon with the breastplate covered with gold and precious stone makes an appearance with this MOC of Fat Tony 1138 while waiting to see what LEGO plans to offer us in its official range about this critter that will be at the center of the trilogy The Hobbit directed by Peter Jackson and the first part of which will be released in December 2012.

Do not get carried away immediately by viewing the images of this MOC in the MOCeur flickr gallery, the pile of gold is mainly made up of a sheet of gilded paper which dresses the whole and which was then covered with parts to create the illusion of a pile of jewelry that the hobbits would like to recover. It's ingenious and the illusion is perfect.

The dragon is well made and I would be tempted to give a special mention to the base of the MOC which is superbly designed. To see more it's in the flickr gallery by Fat Tony 1138 whether it's happening or on its MOCpages space.

lego eurobricks nimportnawak

Today's buzz comes from Brickset writes that in June 2012 LEGO registered two new trademarks: Legends of Chima et Speedorz.

All that was needed was for speculation on possible future ranges to be launched with great fanfare on Eurobricks and others ... New ranges? New board games? These trade names fuel all fantasies and the discussion sometimes takes a little ridiculous turn ...

It should be noted that many brands have registered trade names in buckets over the years, names which are not, however, all of them to be used on a large scale or on flagship product ranges. Some are filed in advance so as not to be I doublé by a competitor who would have heard of projects in progress, others are for one-off commercial operations, etc.

Whatever you read about it these days, remember that these are only extrapolations from very imaginative AFOLs, and that there is no confirmation at this time that these two terms will relate to future ranges of the maker. We will have to wait for LEGO to reveal to us what these names are really linked to to find out more ...

And frankly, Speedorz is a bit ridiculous as a name for the range ... No?

"Tell dad, can you buy me a Speedorz?"

The Official LEGO® YouTube Channel

The regulars of the YouTube platform already knew the LEGOClubTV channel which distilled from time to time other brickfilms, advertisements and various and varied trailers.

The manufacturer has just launched an official channel a little more attractive, crammed with cool videos to the glory of the minifig, the brick and the licenses in vogue. You will also find many brickfilms made by fans there, some of which are of professional quality. An address to bookmark so as not to miss anything LEGO news on YouTube.

Superman & Shazam vs Bizarro

You probably already know, LEGO has just launched his official channel on YouTube which replaces the old LEGOClubTV channel. For the occasion, here is a very well realized brickfilm which features Superman associated with Shazam who both fight against Bizarro in a City setting where you will undoubtedly recognize the sets used to reconstitute Metropolis.

For those who do not yet know, I think there should not be very many, however, the minifigs of Shazam and Bizarro are those distributed during the Comic Con de Sans Diego in July 2012.
