Lord of the Rings - Three is Company - Xenomurphy

What to say in front of this superb MOC of Xenomurphy, which we already know very well through its MOCs on the theme Super Heroes (see these articles on Brick Heroes), except that this gentleman masters his subject ...

The vegetation is simply perfect, the tree is arguably one of the most beautiful I have seen to date, and the slopes of the embankment are breathtaking. The very beautiful photos really showcase the work of Xenomurphy, always so attentive to the smallest detail and who delivers here a clean MOC and very pleasing to the eye. The density of foliage and vegetation on the ground is incredibly controlled.

Obviously, Xenomurphy offers on his flickr gallery many views of this MOC and you can go and spend the next twenty minutes dissecting these images, you won't be disappointed. Here is a complete MOCeur, able to offer urban or plant creations with each time a sense of volumes and astonishing detail.

Do not miss the backlit views of this MOC, they are simply sublime ...

6873 Spider-Man ™ vs. Doc Ock ™

It's confirmed, LEGO takes us a bit for leftovers: Let's move on to changing the name of the set on the French version of the LEGO Shop where we go from Spider-Man's Doc Ock Ambush in original version on the box Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock... They could have gone to the end of the logic and given us a name even more understandable by all of the style Spider-Man vs. Doc Ock... But let's move on.

What is really annoying is that this set is sold for $ 29 at the LEGO Shop US and that we are entitled at the surreal price of 39.99 €. You will tell me that this is not the first time that LEGO has shared with us its very particular conception of exchange rates and the consistency of its pricing policy, and you will be right.

But 40 € for this set is clearly much too expensive for three minifigs, only two of which are really popular in our regions, accompanied by a very simplistic lab.

In short, we will wait to find cheaper elsewhere in a few weeks ...

Tumblers - mahjqa

You know, times are tough and at this hour we still have no certainty that LEGO will release us a Tumbler in camouflage version, so I am going all out ...

It's mahjqa that brings me my daily ration with two Tumblers mixing bricks and Technic elements that I had at first found very average, but which after a few minutes of observation convinced me to present them to you here.

Public chat his flickr gallery, mahjqa also offers a version integrating the LED system from Lifelites.

 The Hobbit - Peter Jackson

We know that Peter Jackson doesn't like to do things by halves. He prefers to do them in three thirds ... And so the film in two parts The Hobbit will become a trilogy, as confirmed by Peter Jackson himself on his facebook page.

The first opus (The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey) will be released in December 2012, the second (The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies) in December 2013 and the third is announced for summer 2014. Contrary to what may have been said at the start, the third part will not bridge the gap with the trilogy Lord of the Rings but will be centered like the first two parts on the story developed by Tolkien in The Hobbit. It would simply be a question of changing the hyphenation points of the first two opus to integrate the third epiosde whose title is not yet known in the announced trilogy.

Does this mean that we will be entitled to even more LEGO sets based on this new trilogy? No doubt that yes, LEGO will undoubtedly take advantage of it, like the director, to dilute its production on this theme according to the releases to the cinema then in Blu-ray / DVD.
