Lego city undercover

Revealed in June 2012, and scheduled for Nintendo 3DS and Wii-U in fall 2012, the game Lego city undercover, a kind of GTA for children developed by TT Games, is talking about him again today: I received several emails telling me that fresh images had just been released and that they revealed vehicles that will be present in the next sets from the LEGO range (City and Friends in particular). In order to answer all those who kindly wrote to me, I am putting some very real information here:

These images are not recent, neither exclusive, neither leaked nor stolen, they were already in the game's promo kit in June 2012, and they have been around the web in all directions since E3 (especially at nintendo-master.com early June).

No LEGO source confirms that the machines in the game will be reproduced in plastic form. We already know that LEGO does not convert all of the content of its video games (minifigs, machines, etc.) developed by TT Games into sets. Star Wars fans in particular know this well ...

We can however imagine that the game, if it meets the hoped-for success and nothing is less certain, will be supported by a range of physical products featuring the main characters and their vehicles. But there are too many parameters to take into account to say today that this will be the case.

In the meantime, I would like to thank all those who took the trouble to write to me, and here are again these images that we (re) talk about today:

LEGO The Lord of the Rings Gamescom screens

Another batch of images from the LEGO Lord of the Rings video game announced for October 2012, including msxbox-world.com et gamesvideo24.com who publish unpublished visuals that I let you enjoy by visiting their respective pages.

Remember that just because a character appears in a LEGO video game in a particular form doesn't mean that we will necessarily see them in a future set. Nothing is guaranteed, promised or announced.

New Collectable Minifigure Sets - Rock Band & Monsters

Two new packs of minifigs have just been unveiled: A pack with the reference 850486 Rock Band (Available for sale now on Bricklink for a little less than 25 euros) including 3 minifigs as well as the parts constituting the instruments (62 parts in all). We thus find the rapper of the series 3 of minifigs to collect with here a cap and a microphone, the Punk Rocker of the series 4 with a green hair and the Rock Girl from the series 7 with black hair and constume in black and white .

The other set (58 pieces) currently sold at gold price on eBay is directly inspired by the Monster Fighters range with the witch on her broom from series 2, a spider, the zombie from series 1 with a brown suit, his suitcase and his walkie talkie, as well as the fluorescent ghost with his chain. The pieces provided allow you to build a tomb adorned with a bat with a snake and some greenery.

No precise information on the availability and distribution method of these sets, but we can assume that they can be found quickly on the LEGO Shop as is the case for the set 850449 which is sold 12.99 € with similar packaging and which also recycles different minifigs from the collectible series by grouping them together on the same theme.

The Dark Knight Rises - The Bat by BaraSH

This is not the first MOC of the flying machine seen in The Dark Knight Rises aka The Bat, and certainly not the last, but BaraSH offers a very clean realization, all in lightness with among others the use very about minifig bases from the collectable series.

It is nicely photographed and you will find many other views on the topic dedicated to this MOC at Eurobricks.

Smaug - Fat Tony 1138

The greedy dragon with the breastplate covered with gold and precious stone makes an appearance with this MOC of Fat Tony 1138 while waiting to see what LEGO plans to offer us in its official range about this critter that will be at the center of the trilogy The Hobbit directed by Peter Jackson and the first part of which will be released in December 2012.

Do not get carried away immediately by viewing the images of this MOC in the MOCeur flickr gallery, the pile of gold is mainly made up of a sheet of gilded paper which dresses the whole and which was then covered with parts to create the illusion of a pile of jewelry that the hobbits would like to recover. It's ingenious and the illusion is perfect.

The dragon is well made and I would be tempted to give a special mention to the base of the MOC which is superbly designed. To see more it's in the flickr gallery by Fat Tony 1138 whether it's happening or on its MOCpages space.
