Small Rancor - BaronSat

Recycling pun used to the cord apart, here is a baby Rancor proposed by Eric Druon alias BaronSat in a rather peculiar style which again will not appeal to everyone. Personally, I like it a lot, but I can understand those who remain closed to this type of brick-based figurine.

Anyway, it's still a great exercise in style and I encourage you to go and discover all the views offered on his flickr gallery.

By the way, and because I find it really crazy, I am also posting a view of his Max Rebo Band which has not performed in public since his appearance in theEpisode VI Return of the Jedi. Don't look for the album on iTunes, you won't find it. You might get a chance at the Virgin megaStore in Mos Eisley, and more ....

LEGO Club - Build a STAR WARS ™ Speeder!

We're not crowding around the LEGO Club US a lot at the moment, and the latest building instructions presented on the dedicated page made me smile: Take two sets not really successful, in this case the 7956 Ewok Attack and 7957 Sith Nightspeeder and you can assemble this wonderful and awesome speeder on which Anakin can proudly walk.

I want the LEGO Club to be aimed at the youngest, but it is not by offering them this type of assembly bordering on the ridiculous that LEGO will help them develop their creativity .... Yet  the space dedicated to instructions on the LEGO Club website also contains some pretty creations, go check it out if you have the time.

All kidding aside, if you've tucked those two sets in a corner and you're still wondering what to do with the parts now that you've collected the minifigs, here's enough to spend a few minutes using them to get a gear that however, will not go down in the annals of the Star Wars universe.

You can download the instructions in pdf format at this address: LEGO Club - Star Wars Super Speeder.

The Sun - LEGO Promotion

Information that is starting to make the rounds of the web, but which should however be taken with a grain of salt: A guy who knows a guy, who has seen a guy who works in a guy, etc ... In short you know the music, and even if AFOLs often have a habit of transforming rumors into certainties from one forum to another, it is better to remain cautious while waiting for an official confirmation.

So, the next promo of The Sun newspaper could take place from October 6 to 13, 2012 according to the information communicated by a forumeur of the English-speaking site of good plans moneysavingexpert.com, and the following promotional bags would be offered:

30211 LEGO Lord of the Rings - Uruk-Hai with Ballista
30201 LEGO Monster Fighters - Ghost
30008 LEGO Creator - Snowman
30151 LEGO City - Mining Dozer
30190 LEGO Racers - Ferrari 150 Italia
30009 LEGO Creator - Christmas Tree
30132 LEGO Pirates Of The Caribbean - Jack Sparrow
30100 LEGO Friends - Beach

Nothing to get carried away if this information turns out to be correct, except perhaps for the presence of the polybag 30211 Uruk-Hai with Ballista, whose secondary market price should logically drop in the days following the promotion due to the large quantity that will be available. This will allow fans of the LEGO Lord of the Rings / The Hobbit range to build an army at low cost. For the rest, nothing very interesting and we especially note the absence of Star Wars / Super Heroes polybags.

3920 LEGO The Hobbit Board Game

We had already been able to discover a first image of this board game with sauce Memory a few days ago (see this article). On this new image of the game box, we learn that the games are planned to last from 15 to 25 minutes and will bring together 2 to 4 players.

But my little finger tells me that the AFOLs care very little about the very concept of the game, and are already enthusiastic about being able to obtain some nice microfigs .... For their part, the MOCeurs are already coveting the many pieces that are available to them. will be useful ...
