And it's just2good, Eurobricks forumer who offers us the very first review of (play) set 6873 Spider-Man's Doc Ock Ambush (Available on amazon.de for 69.99 €).
No surprise, it's a playset that will delight the youngest, and whose minifigs are very successful. Doc Ock's vehicle is nice, the lab where Spider-Man must infiltrate to save Iron Fist from Doc Ock's clutches is a bit rickety, but it will allow for a little fun with the few features it has and that just2good presents in the video.
I haven't really seen a full review of the 9515 Malevolence set * (89.68 € and in stock on amazon.es), just released in the USA, this probably explains this, and it is still the brilliant artist who offers us his video review of this set.
Close-ups of the minifigs, stop-motion of the construction, and finally animation of the different features of this playset, everything is there.
To follow just below, the review of set 9499 Gungan Sub (51.01 € in stock at amazon.es).
* Edit: Actually though, Review of the set at BrickPirate, as noted by Dar2k in the comments.
I know the photo above doesn't necessarily pay homage to this MOC, but I wanted to keep the surprise a bit.
Werjedi, from the Imperium der Steine forum, offers a successful reproduction of the pass known as the Gates of Argonath or even Pillars of the King. This construction brings together around 10.000 bricks.
It is majestic, imposing, and I hope that the MOCeur will stage all this in beautiful photos in order to be able to fully appreciate this achievement.
To see more, visit the topic dedicated to this MOC at Imperium der Steine. You can also view many photos of the construction of the MOC in the first pages of the topic in question.
On the way to a very successful brickfilm which is titled Lord of the Rings: Two Towers in Two Minutes, which sums up the film of the same name and of which here is theExtended Edition.
It's very well done, there are many minifigs from the new LEGO Lord of the Rings range, but we can especially discover or rediscover an impressive MOC which is presented here in a beautiful way: The now famous and gigantic "The Last March of the Ents" (see this article).
NorbyZERO has specially designed for this brickfilm a Balrog / Bionicle about which opinions will be divided.
For the rest, it's worth a look, the staging is neat, the battle of Helm's Deep is daunting and we have a good time ...
If you do not follow the animated series, take a few minutes to read these few lines about the panel The Clone Wars which took place during the Comic Con in San Diego, the next sets based on this universe will follow without any doubt the scenarios and the characters that will be developed there.
First of all, we learn that the first episode of season 5 will be previewed during the Celebration VI. Season 5 will pick up where Season 4 left off: With Darth Maul.
Dave Filoni, the director of the series, announces that Darth Maul will not remain the berserk we saw in the last episodes of season 4. His exorcism by Mother talzin, leader of the clan of Nightsisters on Dathomir, will allow him to regain his senses and especially to become Darth Maul again the war machine that we all know.
During season 5, Darth Maul will prove to be a Sith aware of his powers and capable of the worst tactics. Savage opress will be around and will have a hard time understanding his brother's intentions.
On season 5, many screenwriters already known for their work on various series will be at work: Chris Collins (The Wire, Sons of Anarchy), Christian Taylor (Six Feet Under, Lost), Brent Friedman (Gemini Division, Dark Skies), Charles Murray (Castle, V, Criminal Minds) and Matt Michnovetz (24, Star Wars 1313).
Season 5 will also explore the tumultuous relationship between Anakin et padme. Anakin is younger than her, brash, and sometimes displays a very childish demeanor. Padme is more mature, more thoughtful. After all, she is a Senator.
Obi-Wan will take a break this season, but we are promised to explain to us why he lives alone in the desert. Ahsoka will be very present during season 5, his character will expand further. lux bonteri will also be very present.
Pre Vizsla will get closer to its origins and its warrior culture during this season 5 and bo-katan will also return after his brief appearance in season 4. Dave Filoni denied Fett's presence in season 5 and confirmed that Bo-Katan was created to satisfy the female community of fans of the series.
Matt Michnovetz writes an episode centered around a Clone Commando, which will also be the only Clone Commando present this season. During this 5th season, little new armor will be present.
Grand Moff Tarkin will also be very present during this new season, and we will see him gradually take control of the military forces of the Republic, leaving the Jedi to their role of peacekeepers.
This is what came out of this panel The Clone Wars, summarized by Pablo Hidalgo for the official Star Wars blog, and of which I have taken the most striking elements here.
