Cloud City is the fantasy of the LEGO world: All collectors would like to be able to afford a set 10123 (from 500 € on Bricklink, used but complete). Obviously, it is especially the unique minifig of Boba Fett (from 140 € on Bricklink) with its print on the legs that motivates this craze, the rest of the set being all that there is more classic. I paid a high price for mine, and even if I resigned myself due to the rarity of the set, I think I paid very (too) dearly for this famous minifigure ...
But for the most part we are interested above all in a possible new interpretation of this emblematic place which floats around the planet Bespin seen in theEpisode V: The Empire Strikes Back. The duel between Luke and Vader or the freezing of Han Solo are all key events in the saga that take place in this city of clouds.
Regularly, rumor has it that LEGO is about to announce a re-release of this set. 10123 released in 2003 with its 705 pieces and 7 minifigs. but to date, no concrete information has been revealed and nothing leads us to believe that LEGO plans to release a set on this theme.
StoutFiles took the problem head on and dared to imagine what a playset of the caliber of the set could look like. 10188 Death Star released in 2008 with more than 3800 pieces and 22 minifigs and which remains arguably to this day the best playset ever released in the Star Wars range.
The result is this work carried out under LDD with a meticulous reproduction of the key locations of the city of clouds while respecting the playability and design codes used by LEGO for the set 10188. All is not perfect, but the effort deserves to be highlighted. The exercise is interesting and StoutFiles posts regularly on Eurobricks of the captures of its work under LDD. Do not hesitate to take a tour from time to time on the dedicated topic, there are good ideas.
You don't want to spend at least € 30 on a Dewback on Bricklink ? Brickmamba offers you its version of this bug. It is quite successful, as much as possible using bricks, and remains faithful to its original model which has become overpriced, just like the only set that contains the 4501 Mos Eisley Cantina which is currently trading around 100 €.

I already know the debate is going to ignite, but I have to post here an update on what appears to be the biggest collection of vehicles and Clone Troopers amassed by a single guy on YouTube anyway. . LEGOboy12345678 (!) Posted an update of their 4 year collection and the result is both impressive and surprising ...
The War of the Clone Armies is still raging on YouTube, I already told you about it in this article, and LEGOboy12345678 has obviously taken control ...
Difficult to remain unmoved in front of so many machines, soldiers, speeders, dropships, customs, etc ... exclusively based on the universe of The Clone Wars.
Obviously, there are those who congratulate this collector for this gigantic army and those who scoff at the sums obviously spent over the years to fill an entire room with sets in multiple copies.
The 24 minute video below details all of this. It is commented on by the collector in question.
I'm curious what you think, feel free to post a comment. Stay polite and courteous, no need to get upset or insult others. After all, everyone does what they want with their money and their passion ...
Clarence, a young American student who posts on flickr under the enigmatic nickname Grant Me Your Bacon! Currently offers excellent customs on various themes, including Lord of the Rings.
In contrast to the achievements ofartwalker_ts, his creations are imbued with more realism. It will please or not, but we must admit that the result is artistically very successful. We are far from the polished aesthetic of some custom minifigs and the violence and roughness of the fighting in Tolkien's universe is cleverly suggested.
To see more and discover many other creations of Grant Me Your Bacon!, It's certain his flickr gallery that it happens.
2012 is the year of Darth Maul in all sauces ... And Calin (CAB & Tiler) also marks the occasion with this Darth Maul on his speeder.
As usual, it's successful and well staged. So for the 2000th time, run on his flickr gallery to enjoy the photos of this high-end mini-MOC ...
