Theed Hangar Battle by ACPin

ACPin returns with an imposing diorama reproducing the scene seen in theEpisode I: The Phantom Menace. As usual, this staging is full of details and the finish is perfect. One can hardly hope for better when it comes to reproducing this scene from the film.

This diorama will be exhibited at two upcoming exhibitions in the USA, and should delight visitors. Once again ACPin gives a lesson in know-how in the field of large-scale diorama ...

To discover this scene in detail, go to ACPin website, he is not stingy with photos and the dedicated gallery is filled with shots from all angles.

Darth Maul Returns Custom Minifig - Green Pea Toys

In view of the astronomical prices reached on eBay by the Darth Maul distributed at the New York Toy Fair 2012, I decided ... to wait. This bagged minifig has sold for up to $ 500 ...

This polybag will surely resurface soon during a promotion or a show. In the meantime, I didn't want to stay frustrated that I didn't have a Darth Maul version returning in The Clone Wars and I got the custom of Green Pea Toys I offer you here a photo taken at the moment. It's better than nothing and above all it's much cheaper ....

Iron Man Minifig 2012

Definitely, despite the many visuals of the Iron Man minifigure circulating, it is difficult to understand the size of the helmet and its scale in relation to the rest of the minifigure. These images of the final version of the minifigure of the set 6867 Loki's Cosmic Cube Escape finally allow us to better realize that the helmet is really oversized. We have the impression of dealing with one of these characters in version chibias an those big-headed toys .

I remain convinced that I would have preferred that LEGO sacrificed the opening of the helmet by silkscreening a head with the helmet and adding an extra Tony Starck head in the box ...

New Star Wars 2012 Okay, it's not high definition yet, but an online merchant, Last level, already offers the novelties of June 2012 in reservation. The product sheets are illustrated using the visuals above, which I have grouped together for the occasion. Nothing new, we had already seen these boxes at the New York Toy Fair 2012.

The boxes presented here seem to be the final versions, however. If this merchant was able to get them, they should quickly appear in a nicer format elsewhere ...

XJ-6 airspeeder by Mr Voltron

You have to go back to 2002 to find the trace of this XJ-6 Airspeeder in the LEGO range with the set 7133 Bounty Hunter Pursuit. During theEpisode II: Attack of the Clones, This speeder is used (stolen) by Anakin on Coruscant to pursue bounty hunter Zam Wesell. A very successful chase follows in the middle of buildings and traffic.

Mr Voltron offers a very successful UCS version of this machine. The level of detail is exceptional and the shapes are fluid, all curvy. The scale of this MOC allows the counter-use of certain parts such as pistols which serve for example as pilot sleeves. Special mention for the engines and seats, perfectly reproduced.

To discover this machine from every angle, go to the flickr gallery by Mr Voltron. (thanks to Exobrick)
