The title sucks, as it is.
After his X-Wing which I find a little disappointing, 2x4 returns with another MOC which is really successful: Its Tie Fighter (on the left in the photo) is a nice compromise between detail and simplicity. The SNOT wings are perfect and the attachment arms between the cockpit and the wings are simple, almost too much, but ultimately there is not necessarily a need for more parts there.
On the photo, on the left the 2x4 model and on the right that of the set 9492 Tie Fighter. It's up to you to make up your mind. As far as I'm concerned, I appreciate these two models, with their very different techniques and their aesthetic choices which are defended in both cases.
To see more, visit the flickr gallery of 2x4. In particular, you will find a view of this Tie Fighter accompanied by the X-Wing and the Y-Wing designed by this MOCeur.
Artifex continues its momentum with these impressive video reviews which relegate our good old reviews based on blurry photos taken with an iPhone to the rank of web antiques and offers us three sets among which the excellent ones 9495 et 9493.
I never tire of the X-Wing assembly sequence, which allows me to see exactly how this model is designed. When at the Y-Wing, the video convinced me that I had to offer it to myself immediately on the Lego shop, without waiting for a better price elsewhere in a few weeks / months / years ....

If you are a VIP member at LEGO, you have no more money to pay for the large sets of the Modular range and you still want to give them to yourself, you still have a solution: Buy the set 10230 Mini Modulars which is finally available on the LEGO Shop for the modest sum of 69 €, display it in your living room, stand across the room and pretend you have all of these overpriced sets in their original version. With the effect of perspective and depth, the illusion will be perfect ....
More seriously, for 69 €, this set of more than 1500 pieces is simply essential, even if like me you are not particularly a fan of this type of construction. the adaptation to the mini format is really very successful and the price remains reasonable for this type of product. If you are still hesitating, go see the superb video review of Artifex.
If you're not a VIP at LEGO, don't panic, just subscribe in the VIP program, it's free and open to all ....
The day has barely started and I already know the MOC of the day: this Tumbler microphone is a pure achievement of miniaturization and intelligence in the choice of parts. Succeeding in building a Tumbler as faithful as possible to the original model on this scale is a feat that Georges G. has accomplished without the slightest flaw ...
To see this machine from all possible and imaginable angles, go to the flickr gallery by Georges G.
For my part, I launched into the reproduction of the magnificent Tumbler by ZetoVince by following the instructions I was telling you about. in this article. After waiting for the necessary parts ordered on Bricklink, I confirm that this Tumbler that I have flashed on like many of you is anything but a solid MOC. Nothing really stays in place, you can't move it without the parts remaining in your hand, and it's very annoying. In short, if you are looking for a Tumbler with a stronger hair, go your way and wait for the Tumbler by _Tiler, which is inspired by that of zetoVince but clearly looks more solid and can even accommodate a minifig.
You have been several to point it out to me and I therefore cut myself off from a small visual montage that allows us to compare the werewolf claws from the Monster Fighters range and the claws of the Wolverine minifig that we were able to discover recently in an image from an official catalog.
These are indeed the same claws that we discover from various angles and they will advantageously replace those among others of the sets 7573 Battle of Alamut et 6858 Catwoman Catcycle City Chase (Weapon Bladed Claw) from the creators of custom minifigs such as felt_tip_felon whose Wolverine in Weapon X version was particularly successful. MED et Vanjey had also used these claws for their equally successful Wolverine customs.
To add two words to the Monster Fighters range, I am waiting to see more, but we must recognize that the minifigs are already very attractive both on the side of the monsters, that of that of the ghost hunters.
