Huw Millington from brick set was present at the London Toy Fair and due to the lack of photos of the latest novelties exhibited at the show, he delivers some important information:
The ring is in Chromium Gold with a hole large enough for Frodo to carry it in his hand. The 7 sets of the range were on display and we will be entitled to a new version of the LEGO horse whose rear legs will be articulated.
Concerning the sets, some changes in the minifigs since the estimations according to the preliminary visuals:
9469 Gandalf Arrives - 2 minifigs: Gandalf & Frodo, a cart, a horse, in short nothing more than what we saw in the preliminary visuals.
9470 Shelob Attacks - 3 minifigs: Frodo, Samwise & Gollum. Gollum is hunched over articulated arms that resemble those of LEGO skeletons. The spider is apparently successful.
9471 Uruk-Hai Army - 6 minifigs: Eomer, Rohan Soldier & 4 Uruk-Hai. A small piece of wall that can be connected to that of set 9474.
9472 Attack on Weathertop - 5 minifigs: Frodo, Merry, Aragorn & 2 Nazgulhs (or Ringwaiths) on horseback.
9473 The Mines of Moria - 7 minifigs: Pippin, Gimli, Legolas, Boromir, 2 x Orcs & Cave Troll
9474 The Battle Of Helm's Deep - 8 minifigs: Aragon, Gimli, Haldir, King Theoden, 5 x Uruk-hai
9476 The Orc Forge - 5 minifigs: 5 x Orcs
Info just fell officially: the LEGO® CUUSOO team has just announced that the Minecraft project which obtained in 48 hours the 10.000 supporters necessary for moving to the next step has just been validated. The phase of review is therefore finished and at LEGO we are working on the creation of a set that will be marketed. No date has yet been communicated, but this phase should last several months.
For all intents and purposes, I would like to point out that the visual illustrating this post is that of the Minecraft project initiated by Mojang and that this is not the set that will be marketed soon.
Already a first visual of the characters of the LEGO Lord of the Rings range scheduled for mid-2012 with Frodo Baggins, Samwise 'Sam' Gamgee, Peregrin 'Pippin' Took, Meriadoc 'Merry' Brandybuck, Aragorn, Boromir, Legolas Greenleaf, Gimli and Gandalf the Gray.
We therefore discover the whole happy troop of hobbits accompanied by key characters from the LOTR universe. The screen prints are top notch, the hair is also very successful and the ring is finally represented in its final version.

These are so far the only two visuals that have leaked from the London Toy Fair 2012 currently being held.
We see a Captain America and a Hulk in undoubtedly final version.
Hulk will be entitled to beige pants, probably from the scene of the film that will be represented in the set 6868 Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout. Wait and see ... For those who are wondering, the pants are purple in the comic, but probably beige in the film, which explains it.
The Captain America minifigure seems to benefit from a very successful final screen printing just like the shield, of a larger diameter than that of Christo's custom, which is not to displease me. It remains to be seen the system of grip of the shield for the minifigure.
Huw Millington specifies on Brickset that certain sets were not exposed in their entirety so as not to reveal the scenario of the film The Avengers which will be released on April 25, 2012.
For example, the set 6865 Captain America's ™ Avenging Cycle was only shown with Captain America's minifigure and his motorcycle. It will be necessary to wait to know the name of the second minifigure present in this set.
The and 6873 Spiderman's ™ Doc Ock ™ Ambush was not presented at all on the LEGO stand.

Let's go for the first show of the year with the London Toy Fair which is being held from January 24 to 26, 2012. There is little chance of obtaining visuals of products presented by LEGO during this event: photos are not allowed inside the show. However, this should not prevent those who go there to bring back some new information on what 2012 has in store for us in terms of LEGO.
To be continued, the Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair to be held from February 1 to 6, 2012 in Nuremberg, Germany and the New York Toy Fair which will take place from February 12 to 15. Exhibitors are generally more permissive when it comes to photos during these two events.
Hopefully LEGO will take the opportunity to finally present new products like the Super Heroes Marvel range or a few sets from the next Lord of the Rings range. Regarding Star Wars, let's hope that LEGO will present the highly anticipated sets in UCS format: 10225 R2-D2 (expected to be marketed in March 2012) and 10227 B-Wing Starfighter.
