Star Wars: Clone Wars Magazine

It is by leafing through the digital copy of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars Magazine that I came across this page gathering a good dozen astromech droids from the universe Clone Wars.ir?t=amazon0f3 21&l=ur2&o=8 Used to R2-D2 which we are entitled to every second set of the range LEGO Star Wars.ir?t=amazon0f3 21&l=ur2&o=8

In 2012, we will be entitled to some new droids with the sets 9495 Gold Leader's Y-Wing Starfighter (R5-F7), 9492 Tie Fighter (R5-J2) or even 9493 X-Wing Starfighter (R5-D8) in addition to the endless R2-D2 that we will see both in the sets 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor9493 X-Wing Starfighter et 9490 Droid Escape.

But the universe of Clone Warsir?t=amazon0f3 21&l=ur2&o=8offers us many other astromech droids much less known for some and sometimes sporting colors bordering on good taste.

I let you discover them on this double page of the review Star Wars: The Clone Wars Magazine (Click on the image) that you can also browse at this address to give you an idea of the content that I find attractive in this publication that we will probably never find in our regions ....

For the record, the range LEGO Star Warsir?t=amazon0f3 21&l=ur2&o=8already has, all variants combined 21 copies of R2-D2, 8 copies of R5-D4, 1 copy of R7-D4, 1 copy of R2-R7, 1 copy of R2-Q5, 1 copy of R7-A7, 1 copy of R4-P44, 1 copy of R2-Q2 and 1 copy of R8-B7 ...

superheroes contest eurobricks

With the two competitions organized on Eurobricks on the theme Superheroes, the Lego batman contest and  LEGO DC Minifig Review ... and raffle!, we are entitled to a slew of more or less successful MOCs which at least have the merit of waking up the fan community while waiting to see the 2012 range come out.

This range of sets which was also briefly announced as available soon on Amazonir?t=amazon0f3 21&l=ur2&o=8 before being granted the status ofCurrently unavailable without further details ....

I propose here three very different creations:

Yatkuu stages the Mr Freeze's Lab with Victor Fries and his seriously ill wife Nora, cryogenized in a tall MOC with interesting lighting.

Lord Mandrake features an original comic book cover with Superman taking on the Kryptonite King. The whole is well done and well above the various comic book covers that abound on flickr currently and whose production often deserves a little more care and creativity.

TooMuchCaffeine offers a MOC featuring the Joker and his sidekicks on the streets of Gotham City. The production is impeccable and the minifigs are well staged.

This should help raise the level of the competition organized by LEGO on the site dedicated to the new Superheroes range...

WIP by Arealight - Batman & Robin

These are accessories under development thatarea light alias Bluce Hsu presented long months ago on his flickr gallery. These capes molded in resin, presented here on Batman and Robin, are the most beautiful effect, and would advantageously replace those provided by LEGO which have an unfortunate tendency to age badly and fade over time.

The floating effect is striking and makes it possible to have a minifig entirely in plastic, manipulable by the youngest without risking the fatal tear or the annoying fold ...

With the arrival of the new LEGO Superheroes range, let's hope that Arealight will soon offer these capes again in its catalog, they also seem to have been marketed on its Bricklink store for some time, and that we can keep those provided by LEGO in their little white cardboard box with no regrets ....
