moc spiderman sandman 1
We have to believe that the official announcement of the launch of the Superheroes range for 2012 has awakened the MOCeurs and Xenomurphy has already announced that it is launching a series of MOCs on this theme.

His first achievement sets the tone with an impressive scene where Spiderman is chased by Sandman or the sand man. The reconstruction is of very high quality with an ingeniously reproduced sand hand and a beautiful background.

The facade of the building is a clever mix of tiles with a very successful final rendering.

Let's hope that other talented MOCeurs will offer us dioramas of this type on the theme of Superheroes in order to allow us to wait until the release of the official sets planned for 2012 ....

X-Men Anole vs. Sentinel (by Xenomurphy)

The release of the highly anticipated X-Men: Days of Future Past is only a matter of weeks away (theatrical release in France on May 21, 2014) and it is therefore the opportunity to present here the latest creation of Thorsten Bonsch alias Xenomurphy, perfectionist MOCeur whom I have already told you about several times on the blog.

So we find Anole, a young mutant seen in the New x-men and Young x-men who contemplates a piece of Sentinel, robot hunter of mutants, who has just lost his head and in the process damaged the apartment of a guy who had surely not asked for anything ...

As usual with Xenomurphy, it's perfect down to the smallest detail and I highly recommend that you check out the other photos of this creation on his flickr gallery.

Take the opportunity to take a look at another recent creation which features Scarlet-Spider and Vulture clashing on the roof of the Daily Bugle.

Sorry for the title ...

Arkham Asylum by Xenomurphy

Because with LEGO we can also build things, here is a rather exceptional creation: The Arkham Asylum of Xenomurphy, MOCeur who has already distinguished himself at many times with its massive and detailed creations.

A year of hard work (and teasing), ingenious construction techniques, talent to spare and craftsmanship repeatedly acclaimed by LEGO fans, for an end result that is simply breathtaking.

Since we are never so well served as by ourselves, the gentleman even took the opportunity to create a booklet "Making of"of his work (82 pages, in English and German, download here), in which he explains in detail his artistic choices, his technical problems, his solutions, etc ... The MOCeurs will find good ideas there, the others will simply enjoy being able to better understand this project through the words of its author .

Unfortunately, this creation will not be exhibited at future conventions, in particular because of its weight. You will have to be satisfied with the photos published on the flickr gallery by Xenomurphy. And it's already not bad ...

Triskelion by Xenomurphy

Xenomurphy is embarking on an ambitious project: Reproducing several emblematic places of the Marvel universe in the form of fictitious sets from the Architecture range.

He presents us his first achievement with Triskelion, the headquarters of SHIELD and the Avengers. I'll pass you the details on the history of the place, Google will tell you more.

Obviously, this creation is valid as much for the design of the MOC itself as for its staging on the characteristic visual of a box from the Architecture range. Everything is visually impeccable.

And then as you know, I love the micro format, so I am a client of this type of MOC.

Xenomurphy announces that he could possibly offer us other buildings in the future like the X-Mansion (X.Men), the Baxter Building (Fantastic Four) or the Latverian Castle (Castle Doom) ... So keep an eye out sure his flickr gallery.
