Today we quickly go around the contents of the LEGO set 40712 Micro Rocket Launchpad, a small box of 325 pieces which will be offered at LEGO to members of the Insiders program from February 16 to 18, 2024 from €200 of purchase and without restriction of range then again under the same conditions and to all customers of the official LEGO store. February 19 to 25, 2024.
This little promotional set should please the most nostalgic fans of the C universeClassic Space, they in fact feature some constructions freely inspired by, for example, sets 920 Rocket Launch Pad (1979) 6950 Mobile Rocket Transport (1982) or 6803 Space Patrol (1983). These modernized micro-versions seem to me to be quite successful overall, they are quickly assembled but they will inevitably have a small impact on the target audience on the corner of a shelf. We will also note that the packaging is nicely designed to pay homage to the range concerned, this promotional product only becomes more desirable upon discovery of the box.
There are some features around this product, the rocket can for example go from its shooting range to the mobile launch vehicle, all of this obviously remains anecdotal but the designer has done his homework and is trying to offer a product that is truly up to the task. nostalgia evoked.
There are a few stickers to stick on the different elements of the set, five in total, too bad the emblematic logo of the range is not pad printed. Two instruction booklets are provided, they allow the product to be assembled as a duo, just to share some childhood memories along the way. Two microfigs are also provided, they embody the astronauts at the controls while being vaguely on the scale of the machines offered, it's cute and successful.
The minimum amount required to be offered this little box will once again be rather high, but it will be the price to pay to be able to assemble this compact but well-executed tribute to an emblematic range of the brand. A “real” minifig would have been welcome in this box, but we will have to make do with the two microfigs offered. I will make the effort.
Note: The product shown here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at 25th February 2024 next at 23:59 p.m. Simply post a comment below the article to participate. Your participation is taken into account regardless of your opinion. Avoid “I’m participating” or “I’m trying my luck”, we suspect that this is the case.
Update : The winner was drawn and notified by email, his nickname is indicated below.

LEGO today unveils a new addition to the ICONS range, the benchmark 10332 Medieval Town Square with its 3304 pieces, its 8 minifigs, its animals and its public price set at €229.99. Those who already have a copy of the LEGO ICONS set in their collection 10305 Lion Knights'Castle, still available at the public price of €399.99, will be able to expand their medieval diorama by adding an animated village playset, the two models being perfectly matched.
Those who missed the marketing of the set 10193 Medieval Market Village in 2009 will find in this modernized homage something to satisfy their desire for products on this theme, this new interpretation being in all cases more accomplished and in colors more suited to an association with the castle marketed to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the brand and the LEGO Ideas set 21325 Medieval Blacksmith launched in 2021 and now removed from the manufacturer's assortment.
On the program in this new version, a tavern, a cheese factory, a painting workshop, a guard tower, a carpentry and a weaving workshop. Two features are integrated: a crane and a water mill.
Availability announced in Insiders preview for March 1, 2024 before global marketing from March 4.
As expected, the LEGO Marvel set 76269 Avengers Tower is now available at the public price of €499.99 on the official online store and the acquisition of this large box of 5201 pieces allows you until November 27, 2023 to obtain an extension of the diorama in the form of a small promotional set of 150 pieces bearing the reference 5008076 Marvel Taxi.
Almost everything has already been said about this big box and if you are still hesitant, you can read or reread my product review. Concerning the product offered for the purchase of this box, I presented it in detail a few days ago.
It is now up to you to decide whether this set of two sets is worth spending €500 on right away or whether it is better to wait for a later opportunity to pay a little less for this tower.
Please note, remember to identify yourself on your LEGO Insiders account before confirming your order, the promotional set is only offered to members of the program.

As for the rewards reserved for members of the Insiders program, we will note the return of the €5 coupon available in exchange for only 187 points instead of 750 points and you can use your points to treat yourself to a copy of the small LEGO set 5008074 Buildable Gray Castle which is available in exchange for 2400 points or approximately €16 in equivalent value:

Finally, LEGO is going this year with a small list of sets offered with a reduction on their public price which temporarily places these boxes almost at the price usually charged elsewhere, it is up to you to see if these prices seem reasonable to you and if the accumulation of associated Insiders points seems interesting to you.
In any case, it smacks of massive destocking of certain references which have had difficulty getting out of stock at their maximum price. I have listed some examples that benefit from 30 or 40% off below, the full list is accessible at this address :
