Christopher Tan, talented MOCeur based on Nanoblocks whom I had already told you about on this blog on the occasion of the presentation of his Stormtrooper, put the cover back on with a (very) small brick version of R2-D2.
I have put a visual above for you with its creation on the left and the LEGO model of the set 10225 R2-D2 released in 2012 (2127 pieces) on the right, currently sold at a rather interesting price of 132.90 € at amazon (LEGO retail price € 199.99).
Make no mistake, Christopher Tan's model, which consists of 1500 Nanoblock bricks, is only 15cm high while the LEGO version is just over double at 31cm.
I know we're talking about LEGO here, but the excellent work of this MOCeur deserves a little nod.
If you have tasted nano blocks, feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
