Today we are very quickly interested in the content of the LEGO Marvel set 76192 Avengers Endgame: Final Battle, a box of 527 pieces with the somewhat pompous title sold at the public price of 99.99 € and which promises to be able to replay the final battle of the film Avengers: Endgame.

In fact, it will take a lot of imagination to try to reproduce the final clash between the Avengers and the armies of Thanos, the set being more of an expansion that will have to be combined with the content of the reference. 76131 Avengers Compound Battle (2019) and possibly the set 76237 Sanctuary II: Endgame Battle (October 2021) to hope to have a little fun.

As with the set released in 2019, the Avengers headquarters here take on the false air of a police station from the LEGO CITY range. The good side of things: This new version of the building is completely in line with the 2019 version, from which it takes up the architecture and some layout ideas such as the lasers that close the cell or the rest room. By bringing the two constructions together, we must therefore be able to obtain a more substantial Avengers lair.

No particular refinements here with an exposed tenon floor, a few utensils, a lot of stickers including two holograms representing Captain Marvel and Rocket Raccoon and two detachable side modules that it is better to leave connected to the main building.

The damaged piece of wall is moreover a little out of context here, the rest of the building being quite simply intact with no precise indication of the origin of this rubble. Beware of scratched windows upon unpacking, the copy I received did not escape the friction between these parts and the rest of the inventory in the bags and it's ugly. For the rest, the designer has slipped a few nods to the creation of the nano Gauntlet or the ribbon of Möbius presented in the film by Tony Stark but there is none for 100 €.

We will probably buy this product for its only real attraction: Luis's van equipped with the Quantum-Tunnel miniaturised. The very construction with its empty interior and its two matt roof plates and flanked by a large injection point in their center, seems to me rather successful, enough in any case to contrast with the rest of the product.

The assortment in minifigs is quite complete here, even if it obviously lacks some protagonists of the events concerned by the staging.

The version of Iron Man with his Mark 85 armor is not new, it is the one that was already delivered in 2019 in the set 76131 Avengers Compound Battle. The character is here equipped with a shield covered with stickers, too bad for the lack of pad printing. LEGO provides extra hair so you can really use Tony Stark's usual face.

The minifig of Thor is the one that is also present in the set 76193 The Guardians' Ship marketed since June 1st and the Black Panther figurine with its glimmers of energy finally in the right color is also in the set 76186 Black Panther Dragon Flyer, it does not take advantage of pad-printed legs or arms and seems a little minimalist to me. Ant-Man's nanofig is different from the set 76051 Superhero Airport Battle (2016), the two are equal and in any case we do not see much on this scale. LEGO provides two copies in the box.

Nice new torso for Captain America who reuses the helmet and the head already seen in many sets: LEGO also provides hair here that allows you to enjoy the two faces of the character, even if I still have a little trouble accepting that the fishy character under his mask. The shield provided is the slightly sexier version of the accessory available since 2019, beware of pad printing defects or scratches.

Scarlet Witch has a new torso and head, we still see the same weakness of the pad printing on the character's flesh-colored neck, don't be fooled by the official retouched visuals. LEGO forgets to provide us with the piece of fabric that vaguely embodied the sides of the coat in 2016 and the character still changes his hairstyle. Why not.

The only Chitauri delivered here is also the one available in the sets 76193 The Guardians' Ship et 76186 Black Panther Dragon Flyer. Nice pad printing on the chest and head but the legs are sadly neutral. a Battle Pack de Chitauris would undoubtedly be welcome, just to be able to reconstruct a real "Final battle".

Finally, Thanos changes his appearance noticeably with a separate head, pad prints that disappear on the arms and the addition of designs on the legs. The ink must be very expensive for LEGO to use it so sparingly ... The pattern on the torso is certainly a little more elaborate than on the previous version of this large figurine but it is still incomplete. I'm not a big fan of the big head with visible stud used here, the one-piece version with the helmet marketed in 2019 was more than enough for me.

In short, this "Final battle"probably doesn't live up to the name of the product and it looks like the designer just inflated the inventory after creating the van and deciding which minifigs to include in the set. The van saves the furniture. and the handful of minifigs is always good to grab, especially if you don't buy the other boxes that get Iron Man, Black Panther, and Thor.

Although many young fans will no doubt be happy with it, this minimalist playset really asks to be combined with other products of the same type to offer a convincing playground and the retail price of 100 € asked by LEGO for this. box seems really excessive to me. Fortunately, Amazon already offers this product for just over 70 €, which seems to me to be an acceptable price.

Note: The set presented here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at September 7, 2021 next at 23pm.

Update : The winner was drawn and was notified by email, his nickname is indicated below. Without a response from him to my request for contact details within 5 days, a new winner will be drawn.
