Today we are quickly interested in the content of the LEGO Star Wars set 40615 Tusken Raider, a box of 152 pieces which will be available from January 1, 2023 at the retail price of €9.99. I'm not drawing you a picture, it's about assembling a figurine in BrickHeadz format but the subject treated complicates the conversion of the character a little and the designer has done his best to obtain something acceptable. He gets away with it, in my opinion, quite well knowing that the Tusken Raiders are decked out in a mask made of bandages and some relief elements around the eyes and mouth.
The interpretation that LEGO offers us integrates the main attributes of these creatures and even if these different characteristics are symbolic or even a little caricatural, the objective is achieved and we recognize the sand nomad at first glance. The face seems correctly proportioned to me and the recipe remains the same under the tunic and the mask with red for the viscera and pink for the brains. No stickers in this box, the elements with pockets that make up the belt are therefore stamped.
Those who would like to assemble several copies to form a small tribe to display on a shelf can change a few parts to vary the colors of the tunics or masks and thus create unique figurines. This Tusken Raider comes with a Gaderffii stick to assemble and a rifle, the two accessories can be clipped in either of the hands of the figurine or in the back, still a possibility of variant in the case of the assembly of several figurines.
In short, this BrickHeadz figurine does not demerit in my opinion, the limitations of the format did not deprive this Tusken Raider of a convincing appearance and it is far from being the worst of the collection. Regulars of this range will find here something to vary the pleasures a little with a face very different from that of classic humanoid creatures, it's always taken when you have already built several dozen figurines based on the same principle.
You still have to be a fan of this range to forgive the small arrangements that allow this Tusken Raider to stay in the nails and agree to spend 10 € for three minutes of assembly. But the product can also allow you to please a fan of the Star Wars universe without breaking the bank and with the virtual certainty that the person to whom you offer it would never have spent 10 € for it.
