We return to the side of the LEGO Star Wars range with the small set 75295 Millennium Falcon Microfighter, a box of 101 pieces which will be marketed from January 1, 2021 at the public price of € 9.99.
We could pretend to marvel at this new interpretation of the Millennium Falcon in this Microfighter format which sometimes has some good surprises in store for us but also some high-level failures, but it is really just a new version of the Millennium Falcon.
Sets 75030 Millennium Falcon Microfighter (2014) et 75193 Millennium Falcon Microfighter (2018) had their aesthetic bias, this new variation improves certain details and sacrifices others. That's how it is, and luckily LEGO doesn't bring us exactly the same model every time.
Collectors will therefore be delighted to have a new variant to add to the shelves and those who have not been able to obtain the previous versions will finally be able to get this ship to scale. Chibi usual. Personally, I prefer flick fire missiles from version 2014 to stud shooters used since 2018.
We will simply note that the rear is nicely made with more credible reactors than on the two previous versions and that the part which serves as the canopy for the cockpit has been updated with a new pad printing: the front windows disappear. The designer does not hesitate to integrate a few colored pieces in the passage of the bowels of the vessel, it is always taken for those who will throw everything in their bulk.
The minifigure delivered here is the one already seen in the sets 75159 Death Star (€ 499.99), 75205 Mos Eisley Winery (49.99 €) or even 75290 Mos Eisley Winery (349.99 €). It therefore becomes a little more affordable but it still has the same problem of color difference between the neck and the head of the character, a technical defect hidden on the official visuals via a retouching of the photos.
In short, the Millennium Falcon is an obvious chestnut tree from the Star Wars range at LEGO and you always need one in the catalog. This new small box sold for € 9.99 will allow you to make a gift without breaking the bank and will always please whoever will be offered it.
Note: The set presented here, supplied by LEGO, is as usual in play. Deadline fixed at December 29, 2020 next at 23pm. "The" I try, I participate "are automatically deleted, make an effort.
Update : The winner was drawn and was notified by email, his nickname is indicated below. Without a response from him to my request for contact details within 5 days, a new winner will be drawn.
