Today we are very quickly interested in the content of the LEGO Star Wars set 75344 Boba Fett's Starship Microfighter, a box of 85 pieces which will be available at the public price of 9.99 € from January 1, 2023. There is no need to dwell too long on what this product has to offer, it is a box of a few coins which will be used above all to complete a basket on the official online store to reach the minimum amount required in order to benefit, for example, from an interesting promotional offer.
Long-time collectors will especially remember a similar product marketed at the Star Wars Celebration VI convention in 2012: the tin sold for $40 at the time contained what can since be considered a prototype of Microfighter, a micro Slave I with his minifig of Boba Fett. The new version of the ship doesn't share much with the model of the time, but it at least allows fans to get the thing without spending several hundred dollars on the secondary market.
For the rest, all of this is obviously very quickly put together and "experience" is not a selling point here. The Slave I is built in a few minutes, it has a cockpit spacious enough to accommodate its owner, it is equipped with two flick fire missiles and rotating wings and the mobile canopy is perforated on two sides. The finish of the model obtained seems rather correct to me if we take into account the imposed format, back side included, it's almost cute and it doesn't take up space on the corner of a shelf.
The minifig is the one already seen in the sets 75312 Boba Fett's Starship (49.99 €) and 75326 Boba Fett's Throne Room (99.99 €), it was not necessary to hope that LEGO splits a figurine exclusive to this box. The pad printing may seem successful from a distance but it is still very messy up close with layers that are not perfectly superimposed and smudges unworthy of a manufacturer who charges a high price for his products.
In short, there is nothing to gargle for long on this product sold for 10 €, it is minimalist and respectful of the usual format of Microfighters and this box features Boba Fett and his iconic ship whose name has suddenly become more generic in 2021 probably to avoid the use of the word "Slave" (slave) on derivatives and the troubles that come with it.
There is therefore no valid reason not to spend the 10 € requested by LEGO, especially if you want to get the pretty minifig supplied with it without buying the other two sets in which it is also delivered identically.
Note: The set presented here, provided by LEGO, is as usual involved. Deadline fixed at 7th January 2023 next at 23:59 p.m. Just post a comment under the article to participate. Your participation is taken into account regardless of your opinion.
Update : The winner was drawn and notified by email, his nickname is indicated below.
