We are talking again about the most mysterious set in the LEGO Star Wars range: The reference 75098, identified so far under the name Battle of Hoth and whose final name would be Assault-on-Hoth, that the various rumors announced to us for the end of 2015 and which finally should not be available until 2016 (perhaps for May the Fourth).

It would therefore be a set Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) and in the box we would find almost all the elements seen in the video below with the exception of AT-ATs.

On the menu, if the rumor is correct, a door to the hangar at the Echo base, generators, defensive positions, turrets, a Wampa in his cave with Luke in his fridge, K-3PO, R3-A2, Toryn Farr , Snowtroopers, rebels, and even Han Solo on his Tauntaun.

This is enough to satisfy fans of the Ghostbusters franchise with a rumor that announces the release of the set 75827 Ghostbusters Headquarters for January 2016.

Not much is known yet about this box, other than that it should contain 4600 pieces, that its US public price would be $ 350 and that the building would open to allow access to a detailed interior as was for example the case of the haunted house of the set Monster Fighters 10228 Haunted House released in 2012.

We will remember the lego ideas project proposed by Brent Waller (visual above) which had finally been validated by LEGO but which only allowed us to obtain the Ectomobile and the four main characters in the set 21108 Ghostbusters.

LEGO would therefore have finally decided to market its version of the headquarters of the ghost hunters in a D2C set (Direct2Consumer). The rumor however does not specify the number of minifigs provided in this box and does not confirm the presence of a possible new Ectomobile.

However, it seems unthinkable to me that LEGO does not deliver the Ecto-1 in a set of 4600 pieces based on the Ghostbusters franchise and sold for $ 350 ... We will also probably be entitled to a new version of the four Ghostbusters, and the minifig of Peter Venkman featured in the Level Pack LEGO Dimensions 71228 is in my opinion just a taste of what we will discover in this big set, just like the Slimer of the Fun pack 71241 and the Stay Puft of Fun pack 71233.

Update : For anyone wondering where all the 2016 sets lists currently available come from: The new sets referenced on the official LEGO website are detectable using a temporary address intentionally altered which is automatically converted by the manufacturer's server and which then lets appear the name of the set concerned ... You can try by indicating the desired set number in the two places required in the address.
All of the 2016 set lists posted on various forums to date have obviously been compiled by this means.

The official LEGO 2016 retailer catalog being available, the "leaks" are starting to reach us from those who have been able to take a look.

Keep in mind, however, that the minifigs mentioned are mentioned for now and until proven otherwise by rumors posted on a forum.

It's rumored season and the expected sets references for 2016 are fueling discussions. After the full list of Star Wars sets for the first half of the year, here's some info on the new DC Comics releases expected in the coming months.

On the one hand, we are predicted to have an exclusive set (Direct 2 Consumer) with a Batcave based on the Batman 66 TV series: 76052 Batman Classic TV Series Batcave. No public price or precise description for the moment.

Remember, LEGO had already made a remarkable foray into this kitsch and cult universe with the exclusive set sold during San Diego Comic Con in 2014. This same set containing a Batmobile accompanied by Batman and Robin could also foreshadow a sub-theme coming in the Marvel and DC Comics ranges: There is a lot of talk about the upcoming Marvel and DC Comics references announced for the retail price of € 9.99 and some believe that they could be sets of the type "Racers", containing a character and a mini-vehicle.

I see it as a Marvel and DC Comics-style variation of the principle of Microfighters from the Star Wars range, the third wave of which is also expected in early 2016 with in particular the reference 75127 The Ghost based on the Star Wars Rebels animated series. A Chibi version of this ship was marketed in 2014 at San Diego Comic Con and Fan Expo in Canada.

Another DC Comics reference expected in the coming months: The set 76053 Batman Gotham City Cycle Chase. We do not yet know anything about the contents of this box, the public price of which was unveiled by Amazon a few days ago: 24.99 €.

Finally, for the Ninjago range, a dozen references bearing the mention "ninjago movie"are announced (70606 to 70617). It is difficult to know if these boxes will actually be marketed in 2016 and I remind you that the release of the film, initially scheduled for 2016, has been postponed to September 22, 2017.
