How about what LEGO has in store for 2016 in the LEGO Super Heroes range which is divided into two universes: DC Comics and Marvel?
Below is a very approximate list of the references which should in principle be marketed in early 2016. Until proven otherwise, this list should be considered as an unconfirmed rumor for now.
In this list which brings together very preliminary names, there are therefore three sets based on the film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which will be released in spring 2016, a box derived from the next Marvel film Captain America: Civil War planned for May 2016, a set that will perhaps be inspired by the new animated series Marvel's Avengers: Ultron Revolution and even a box from the Juniors range featuring Iron Man and Loki.
Despite everything, it is difficult to get a precise idea of the content of these boxes with such vague titles.

The LEGO sets based on the movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens are not out yet, but it is never too early to talk about the future: So here is what will be the beginning of 2016 on the side of the LEGO Star Wars range.
As for the sets based on the film which will be released on December 18, six boxes are planned, two Microfighters sets, two Battle Packs and two sets System :
|
These six sets will be accompanied by four sets System based on existing films (Original Trilogy et Prelogy:
|
Four Microfighters sets will be based on the Star Wars Rebels animated series:
|
Finally, two Battle Packs based on the Star Wars Battlefront video game are planned, as well as six Contraction Figures. We already know one of them, the First Order Stormtrooper unveiled during the last San Diego Comic Con.

All the rumors are not of the same barrel and most of them are to be taken with very big tweezers. However, today we are talking about a hypothetical entry of the Star Wars universe into the already very heterogeneous one of LEGO Dimensions.
Whoever mentions this possibility on Eurobricks is generally very knowledgeable and I am inclined to give him credit on this new rumor: The information he may have provided in the past was clearly first hand and has often been proven to be correct.
We are therefore talking about the arrival of expansion packs based on the Star Wars universe for the game at the end of 2016, the beginning of 2017. In the meantime, this is the other concept. Toys-To-Life at the moment, Disney Infinity, which retains the exclusivity of the license.
A few weeks ago, however, it was an important guy at Disney, John Vignocchi (Vice President of Disney Interactive Studios) who kicked in and implied that Star Wars would never set foot in LEGO Dimensions (See this article).
If this new rumor proves to be true, and it will still take a few months for us to obtain a more official confirmation, it will confirm that the adage is indeed true: You must never say never.
PS: I repeat once again for those who still would not have understood that the visual above is a homemade DIY made by myself which has nothing official contrary to what I have already read here or there .... ;-)
Do you like polybags? You will be served!
The list below gives the chronology of the distribution by the end of the year by the brand Toys R Us in the USA of a series of polybags, some of which are potentially very interesting:
|
If some of these bags are already known (I have completed the list with the official LEGO references already known) and have already been the subject of a promotion at LEGO or elsewhere, the three polybags in bold in the list above are interesting:
The one identified as containing a version Episode vii of C-3PO should logically allow us to get the droid in its new version with a red left arm, like seen on other derivative products.
The polybag identified as "SH Avengers Hulk"could finally allow us to obtain a new version of the character in minifig format with his outfit seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron unless it is, but I think it is unlikely, of the reference 5000022 output in 2012.
The bag identified as "SW Stormtrooper"can optionally be unpublished and become a Army builder interesting or contain the Stormtrooper Sergeant if it is in fact the polybag 5002938 already released.
We may be missing a LEGO Star Wars set among the novelties announced for the summer and next fall: A Eurobricks user, generally well informed, mentions the existence in a catalog of the reference brand 75096 Sith Infiltrator, a box about which we do not know much about for the moment but which will be accompanied by the following minifigs: Darth Maul, Watto, Anakin Skywalker (child), Qui Gon Jinn and an astromech droid as evidenced by the visual below- below.
We can consider that if no information has filtered on this set so far, it could be an exclusive reference to the LEGO Shop, which would explain its absence on the LEGO stand during the last Toy Fair.
On the content side, nothing to get excited about, the Sith Infiltrator having already been the subject of multiple adaptations in LEGO version with in particular three sets in the format System released in 1999, 2007 and 2011 respectively.
At this stage, we do not know if this reference will actually be released one day and under what conditions. Wait and see ...
Update : Confirmation by email and by another source that this set is indeed present in the reseller catalog. The list of minifigs is also confirmed. Released in August 2015, 660 pieces, 99.99 €.
