76023 Batwing UCS (The LEGO Movie)?

We have to hang on to follow the uninterrupted flow of more or less founded rumors that are currently circulating around the next exclusive sets which will be unveiled in a few weeks.

The LEGO DC Comics 76023 UCS set wouldn't be a Tumbler, but the Batwing that transforms into Super Batmobile seen in the movie The LEGO Movie.

Another source announces a price around $ 200 for this box which would therefore be unveiled during the next San Diego Comic Con (July 23-27, 2014).

Hopefully, if this set ever comes out, LEGO will offer the possibility of transforming this Batwing into a Batmobile as is the case in the movie ...

star wars slave 1

We were already talking about it in October 2013 (See this article) and the rumor has since been rather persistent: The second UCS set planned for 2014 will probably be a Slave I version Boba Fett if we are to believe the various sources that distill the clues.

Today on Eurobricks, a member of the forum indicates that he obtained confirmation from a guy at LEGO that it would indeed be a Slave I accompanied by a new version of Boba Fett.

At the same time, Brickset added the reference 75060 SCU to the inventory of the LEGO Star Wars 2014 range.

In February, a source confirmed the launch of the set 75059 Sandcrawler during the Bricks Cascade convention and also mentioned that the second UCS of 2014 would be a Slave I.

I believe that we have enough clues and that the contents of set 75060 are no longer a surprise ...

The image above is in fact an enlarged view of the famous photo of the LEGO premises in Billund on which we can discover some new projects in the middle of sets already marketed and where I had isolated the Slave I to illustrate the article of October 2013 (See this article).

LEG0 Star Wars 10179 Millennium Falcon

I know what you're going to tell me: It seems obvious that sooner or later LEGO will bring back a Millennium Falcon, especially since it seems that the most iconic ship of the Star Wars saga will return to service in theEpisode vii : A human-scale replica of this ship is currently under construction in the studios of Pinewood (UK) which host the shooting of part of the film.

The rumor about the release of a new version of the Millennium Falcon comes straight from Bricklink where an American member of the marketplace Says a Danish contact has confirmed to him that LEGO plans to re-release a UCS version of the ship for late 2014 or early 2015.

Nothing very specific yet, but it seems plausible. The latest version of this LEGO-style ship dates from 2011 with the set 7965 in the format System, and the UCS version (10179) which trades around 1000 € currently dates from 2007. If the vessel is present in theEpisode vii, we will not escape it.

Collectors will not be affected by this possible reissue: They collect all editions ... Anyone who could not get the set 10179 will be happy to learn that LEGO may give them another chance to sell. 'offer a plush and detailed Millennium Falcon.

Stay tuned ...

The Tumbler

What if LEGO released a UCS version of the iconic vehicle from The Dark Knight saga, the Tumbler?

It seems that the manufacturer has finally decided, in any case that is what The Brick Show announces in a way that leaves no room for doubt (at 2:25) in his review of the 30300 The Batman Tumbler polybag (video accessible at this address).

We can no longer count the Tumbler MOCs on the internet, in all formats and sizes, until Brent Waller's Cuusoo project which had gathered in 2013 the 10.000 supporters but which had been rejected subsequently.

We are entitled to wonder if this rejection by LEGO of the Brent Waller project has ultimately not a link with the official set which should therefore be released this year.

new marvel 2014

I'd rather warn you, the info below is from a guy who admits he's not a fan of the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes range, who's seen blurry photos and only remembers half of what he saw ...
