If you regularly hang out on flickr, you certainly know Vesa Lehtimäki aka Avanaut, a Finnish photographer rather good at staging minifigs, especially in the Star Wars universe. I have already presented you on several occasions with his various achievements on Hoth Bricks.

All his creations are the result of a clever mix between atmosphere, angle of view and careful lighting, for a visually impressive result. Avanaut has also inspired a whole generation of budding photographers, who try to imitate the master, with more or less success, moreover ...

So you won't be surprised to learn that LEGO has used his talents to stage minifigs from the LEGO Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit ranges.

This is what the current LEGO Club Magazine reveals In an article dedicated to this talented photographer.

You can also find out in another article an overview of the design process for the LEGO The Hobbit range. Everything is popularized enough to be accessible to the youngest, first readers of LEGO Club Magazine.

If you followed my advice in February 2011 and May 2011, you have integrated the photo gallery ofAvanaut, a prodigy of LEGO staging and photography.

With winter approaching, he leaves for Hoth to offer us new still spectacular shots where lighting, movement and atmosphere are skillfully controlled.

Avanaut returns this time with a visual featuring a Snowspeeder mowing down an AT-ST on a snowy hill and under the eyes of a Snowtrooper not necessarily more worried than that .....

The image was modified with Photoshop, in order to remove the suspension wires from the various elements of the scene, and the moving snow was reproduced using flour.

So I repeat it once again: Add to your favorites this flickr gallery which still has many visual surprises in store for us in the coming months.
