If you still have room on your shelves to store one more LEGO book, know that the very prolific publisher Dorling Kindersley (DK for short) is offering this year a book soberly entitled "LEGO Timelines" which takes advantage of the already over-exploited trend on the internet of timelines to make a beautiful book to leaf through in your spare time.
On the menu, 256 pages, of which you will find some examples below, dotted with 75 illustrated friezes which retrace the history of different ranges and products or which detail the manufacturing processes used by LEGO.
Everything is abundantly sprinkled with numerous anecdotes and other facts, it's promising but it will be in English while waiting to know if a publisher will one day offer us a French version.
No bricks or minifigs with this book, it's a bit of a shame because there was plenty to delight us with an exclusive figurine or a special brick.
The book is already up for pre-order at Amazon with availability announced for September 5, 2024:
