Everything has already been said about this umpteenth set vaguely inspired by the Battle of Hoth in the LEGO range. I say vaguely inspired, because it would take a little more than a Snowspeeder and a few minifigs to make it look like something. Although with all the sets on this theme accompanied by one or two AT-ATs, we start to have an interesting diorama.
I just take the opportunity to offer you the new visual of the box uploaded by GRogall and to talk about the two minifigs now presented as "Hard to find"delivered in this set.
On the one hand, we have a new version of Luke in pilot outfit, with two pockets on the pants. Hooray.
On the other, the really new minifig of this set, this good old General Carlist Rieekan, commander of the Echo base on Hoth and from the same planet as Leia: Alderaan (The one that explodes ...). Well, this guy is not a star of the saga either, but he deserved his minifigure.
This is not the minifig of the year, but he is one more interesting character in our Star Wars minifig collections and it is for him that I will buy this set which should be exclusive to certain brands or to the LEGO Shop.
A minifigure that we will not see again anytime soon in another set, plus a box with restricted marketing = Lots of regrets later for Star Wars fans who will have bypassed it.
If you want more close-ups, go to GRogall's Brickshlef gallery. Besides, if you want HD visuals of new things, put his favorite gallery and stop looking for them.
- Frederic Marchand : I have the same problem on my side except that I don't want...
- Steph : Too bad the spider's face is missed otherwise...
- The_SPY : Yes, really too expensive! +1 for Grogu...
- The_SPY : Thank you Chloé for the editing :)...
- Tylar : The Jedi is so successful...
- kurgan seth : Shameful, as said just below. Polybags are valued...
- Tylar : Clearly, beautiful spider...
- Tinatis : As said in the conclusion, best value for money...
- Tinatis : 5 times too expensive, no need to say more....
- Tinatis : Perhaps the best interpretation of Hagrid's hut...
