LEGO Star Wars Mini Movie

It's a very long weekend, very quiet and rainy, so here I am, wandering like a poor fan lost in the list of videos uploaded to the official LEGO site.

Nothing very exciting, except this new video where we see a Clone Commander and a Clone Trooper both from the 2013 Battle Pack 75000 Clone Troopers vs. Droidekas, grappling with a few battle droids, and bustling around a defense (or communication, or generator of something) turret, LEGO instructions in hand and equipped with a brick separator.

A mini-poster of the scene is also downloadable at this address on the official LEGO website.

Nothing conclusive even if the wink is nice. From there to seeing the content of a future set from the LEGO Star Wars range, there is only one step that I will obviously not take. Though...

If like me you go around in circles on this very rainy Sunday, take the opportunity to watch this video, it will always be taken ...

LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles promotional set

In order to ensure maximum media coverage, LEGO follows the ritual of the promotional giveaway that almost forces recipients to post the press release content that comes with it and is offering an exclusive set with ultra-limited circulation to a few of the blogs and sites. most influential people on the media planet.

The box contains 3 sachets for a total of 408 pieces and two minifigs: Yoda and (a priori) a young padawan, both accompanied by a Holocron Droid. The set reproduces the archive room of the Holocrons that we see in the mini-saga trailer.

Obviously, this box is already offered for sale on eBay (See the announcement) for the modest sum of $ 999 by one of the recipients of the press kit. Why wait to pocket a few greenbacks ...

I will wait to see how many of these sets surface on the different sales platforms (eBay, Bricklink) and at what price before I decide to break my PEL to buy me one ...

The Avengers 2: Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch by Mike Napolitan

Joss Whedon, director of The Avengers and pilot of the upcoming series Agents of SHIELD has just confirmed that two new characters from the Marvel universe will be in the cast of The Avengers 2, which he will also direct: Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.

Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver is a character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby who made his first appearance in the X-Men comic in 1964. He has since appeared in some arcs of the Avengers series.

Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch, and incidentally sister of Quicksilver, is also a character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1964.

I hope that their presence on screen in the second installment of the Avengers saga will be enough for LEGO to offer us the minifig version of these two characters in an upcoming set ... The designers of custom minifigs should for their part quickly offer us their version of these two super heroes.
